He's certainly a talent for sure but I'd rather not engage in a bidding war for him if that's just the starting bid. I'd rather get a solid bigman or two IMO, the position we're weakest in
 
San Beda in the past has never gave in to a player’s request for an increased “benefits”. Fil-Ams Michael Burtscher and Julius Armon comes to mind. And both times SBU won the crown with guys filling the void left by those players.
 
If Pablo or Gagate decides to transfer, this would be a game changer for any team in the Ncaa. As for Jacob, if the rumors are true about the bidding it would be best to let him go.

For me jacob is not worth 6m. Actually even 3m i will not offer him.
 
Ever wonder where these figures came about? Yeah, Mac Cardona and as told to him by some lasallian. Some folks are quick to brand the father as pimp. People are quick to forget that the family could have switched schools as early as august but they did not. When jacob was just plain cool cub and not king lion. When they could have cashed in at dlsu when SBU isnt assured of anything in S99.
Jacob and family dont deserve any of the judgements. And if the Bedan community sees his father as a pimp jacob better find some place else that would treat him and his family better.

Theres no offer yet for jacob before s99. And yes he even talked to ust. What should we call him?
 
UAAP and the NCAA are pro leagues with an amatuer label.

More times than not the player signs with the highest offer. Cant really blame the kid.

As far a game fixing . Almost every school has a player known to sell games. Then recently one of the king pins in a former pba player so he has the network

AFAIK talks about Jacob to DLSU came from the green side. They even called SBU farm team and insulted MVP when CCLEX paid tribute to SBU's title run.
 
Man this Jacob to La Salle is getting tiring. If Jacob is indeed leaving he should. Tbh it's understandable cosidering his dad's roots. He's an integral part of a very sweet championship for San Beda and no one can deny that. It's a new challenge for him to try to win in the UAAP and maybe it was a dream for him playing there.

Agree. If he does leave, San Beda will always be grateful for the time and effort he gave.

Kinda have a feeling an announcement is coming soon with regards to his decision, hearing that baclaan is also taft bound, feels like the bahay decommitment news would have a domino effect. Still think beda is a finals contender with or without him, tho i believe it would be a bigger gamble for him to move to another school at this point of his career when he can be with an overseas team as early as end of season 100.

I think around next week. Enrollment for the 2nd sem starts on the 7th.
 
i am curious who are the 2 “top tier ncaa” schools interested in kean baclaan.
 
i think kean was the easiest to pirate and poach since he already has a family to support. and also a product of the dlsu (zobel) system.

i would speculate that one of the ncaa schools interested is mapua.

Might be far off but baclaan played for baste jrs. I know csb has some interest but he is already expected to move to the other side of taft.

With Jacob and Kean expected to move to DLSU, are we expecting David, Austria, Rubico, and Alao to transfer?
