Thats what happens when the league takes away its fsa's and most of the 6'7 and above guys move to the uaap. Anyways benilde and mapua have decent size as well. Its teams like jru, perps and baste thats really undersized, like no one decent above 6'4. No surprise they're all ranked below in most of our rankings this season.

They could have used masiglat's size out there. Both could have played right away for them, i wonder why they didnt make it.

Yup. Based on the roster info Royo is the only one below 6 feet. Nygel will most likely be the starting PG as a sophomore.

San Beda’s last true sophomores that were the starting PGs were Evan Nelle (2019 lost title) and Baser Amer (2012 won title).

Just saw in FB Basketball Zone:
Masiglat, Ronquillo, Valina played in Fil-oil pre-season while they haven’t finished yet ung SHS/Juniors, that is why they are nor eligible.”

not sure if this is a legit reason.

Did both of them already graduate high school already? Apprently the reason why they didnt make the lineup is that they havent graduated yet and baste fielded them in filoil which the ncaa doesnt allow apparently(New Rule daw). Same case with Lanze Ronquillo.

NCAA is incosistent then. Adamson shs grad was june 20. Both carillo and bonzalida already played for their teams well before that date.
 
Allen Ricardo via Naveen's interview of him said that Manalili will indeed have an operation for his injury rhis month. Said he got it from playing in those cm farm games. Tho he did not comment if it was also acads related too.

Thought of the same thing, even mangubat was playing for mapua as well, diba they are the same batch with masiglat ang company?

Maybe the academic year has ended when bonzi and carillo suited for sbu and csb. Hence, they are no longer students of adu shs. Thus, the stupid rule does not apply.
