Where is Calanasan in this photo? LSGH vs Perpetual. Perps beat Greenies easily in the NGBL.

He didnt play in that game but he's in the lineup He and his fam just finished processing his papers with lsgh last week. Will probably play in their next games. Games was closer than you think, lsgh to get a lead in certain points of the game but credit to Perps for managing to control the game in the last quarter.

Here’s my vote on who I think should be on the list

Mapua (Patrimonio and Atoy Co) - former NCAA and PBA MVPs

Letran (Lauro Mumar and Freddie Webb) - Mumar was once regarded as the Bob Cousy of the Philippines and Olympian. Freddie Webb needs no introduction. Former Letran star, Olympian, coach, actor and politician

San Beda (Caloy Loyzaga) -regarded as the greatest pinoy player and FIBA Hall of Famer.

Perpetual (Bong Hawkins) decorated PBA player

Philippine Christian U (Jayson Castro) the PBA MVP award has been elusive to Jayson. But honoring him as one of the greatest NCAA players of all-time will do him justice. 2-time FIBA Asia best guard.

San Sebastian (the 1988 team) was mentioned many times as the first collegiate team to have all its players made it to the pros (PBA) except the coach.

Jose Rizal U (Philip Cezar) - NCAA and PBA MVP, 2-time PBA grand slam champion.

Hmm if she's eligible, Hidelyn Diaz would be a good candidate for benilde haha

Seemed to spot a new player for benilde. He's wearing Baliquig's number 5 jersey. Looks really familiar just cant place where i saw the guy.

Its a kid thats on a tryout. Didnt get the name but he's a prospect.

Heard he's in the same boat as diamante. Overaged for ncaa jrs yet havent graduated from senior high.

Hmm quite suspicios that only baliling of the Ricardo boys got elevated in the seniors lineup. Didnt their batch have 6 graduating guys from the squires?

So this should confirm it. Both Manalili and diamante are still in senior high but overaged for the jrs tournament. The commentor is a known letranite photographer who knows team.

Letran Squires is no stranger when it comes to maxed out playing years but has not graduated HS; Roi Sumang (2008) and Bong Quinto (2012). Both needed to finish a year in HS after maximizing their playing eligibility.

Just incredible to find out that Diamante still has two more years in HS. By the time he graduates high school he will be 22.

With Manalili being ineligible, their final 4 hopes took a big dip. Manalili was tailor made to be in allen ricardo's teams. He made life easier for scorers like.estrada and cuajao? Montecillo is good but i find him slow and flat footed. Atleast with the lightning quick delfino around coaching staff could switch them around depending on fit and need.

Yeah was not surprised as well. But a lot were caught of guard since he was still playing in the preseason tourneys and was picked to be included in the sga team. And with that, imo letran took a big hit.

As for diamante, does that mean he's a year lower than golden boy andy gemao? Diamante's like 2-3 years older than him. Yikes haha

Pretty funny that guys in the fb comm section were quick to blame charles tiu for poaching lmao. People really believe he'll leave allen ricardo, big naaah haha. But yeah letran will only go as far as where manalili would have taken them. But the remaining guards are no slouches either. I think they'll atleast be decent. Maybe finish just above 500 this season.

I wonder why Andwil could not get an offer to play in NCAA jrs or UAAP jrs atleast but Owen easily got. Based on their videos, he seems to be better than Owen. Playing in high school seasonal tournament would help fasten their development.

Kid's still raw. Hope they get a pretty good big man skills coach for him. Imagine him being trained as early as now by the likes of Norman Black.

Haha even charles knows that. I think they have a better chance of landing diamante than him lol. But yeah i think allen ricardo is a one off in letran. Sga might give him the benilde job if charles tiu decides to leave after the season. Lot's of connection with the team anyways like marvin bienvinida, allan brodett and some of the guys there that played for him in milcu. I feel like delta will bring along his own guys next year.

I think andwil is not mobile enough to be effective, looks like he needs to shed some weight. Might lead to some injuries in the long run. Thats what owen did and he looks in great shape. The andwil photo was posted couple of weeks ago. The owen one was couple of days ago.
