NCAA Season 100

  • Thread starter Thread starter Silent Killer2
  • Start date Start date
Was that lyceum's projected season 100 lineup? If it is they're in big trouble. How can they lose to a team full of projected team b players and transferees who arent even familiar with each other and the system yet.

Looks like it, 6'5 filam was already in uniform. Didnt see tho if he played. But yeah im not liking lpu's fortune for the incoming season. Guadana is looking like Escamis' discount version.

As for the the transferees, they all looled good as advertised. Jucom is one heck of a shooter, looks even better than oli. Daja made some nice plays, just needs to add some muscle na lang, gonzaga need a little more familiarity of the sustem but the intagible were there whil gaspay game looks like a better fit in the ncaa

Why did he even leave mapua in the first place? He seems to have solid role already before he left. Now he'll have to contend with a lot of guards in letran's lineup.

exactly! he is already a starter, without the 1 game suspension, he should have been the freshman of the year. got blinded with that signing bonus

from one alumnus benefactor knina sa game:

”nakausap ko si Peter, gustong gusto tlga nya bumalik, mali daw na nag-enrol sya agad sa Letran without surveying ung team and recruits”

Nothing is wrong if family aka "money" is your reason. There is MPBL anyway. But when its for his career, people have been noticing his potential na sana and with the playing time coach Randy is giving him, he could be one of the best guards sana sa mapua. Kaso masyado maaaga ginatasan either nya, ng family nya or ng mga taong nakapaligid sa kanya yung ipinakita nya last season

Imo he got some bad advice haha. When he moved, there was already talks of the delta take over right? He shouldve known that he'll bring along his own guys as well. Now besides manalili, montecillo and delfino, he'll have to compete with the filam pg who also played kanina plus fellow transferee ross taporco, ex perps ferreras and injured guard niko fajardo and a lot more. Unless allan ricardo plays 3 guard lineups(which will be a challenge since of all the guys i listed only manalili is above 6ft), Rosillo really now has to prove himself.

Jucom is the real deal and for me the best of the dlsu transfers. I even prefer him over sj moore. Jucom just fits with tiu's system better. He and carillo should be the back bone of csb's shooting guard rotation in the future. Bonus na lang having daja, oli and jarque.

Can he still go back? MIT looks loaded already.

Peter already enrolled last January, so if he will go back to Mapua or to any school, he needs to undergo 1 year residency.

also, going back to Cardinals is not really feasible, aside from trust issues, Cardinals’ backcourt is loaded already, Escamis/Mangubat/Cuenco/Mangubat plus Cyril Gonzales, Ivan Lazarte will be playing come S101.

One of the two newly recruited 6'8 of the Red Lions I think can play right away but who wil be demoted in the reserved list? The other 6'8 is an gr11 student but already commited in principle to Jude.

Lina? How's his recovery doing anyways? If he's not yet ready in the first round of season 100, maybe itll be smart for him to sit out the rest of the season. Guys with knee injuries in his size needs to take it slow to lessen the risk of reinjuring that knee or hurting the other one.

I think they are not 6’8”. More like around 6’6” lang. The Grade 11 HS participated also last year in the US training camp. He’s only 16. He is being recruited since last year for the Red Cubs.

The other one with the afro I think already played a year of college ball in the US, 19 years-turning-20.

Their final scrimmage at Jordan Lawley pitting Red vs White saw Yukien hitting the game-winning trey for the Red. I saw Jimmy Reyes closing the game for the White which gives us an idea how good he is and Yuri trusting him to finish the game.

Yikes. The guy needs to fire his agent/adviser.

Jalbuena, Tagala, and Culdora.

Pinoyliga Big Dance Brackets are out. Looks like beda has one of the hardest paths to the final 4, possibly facing eac or mapua early in the tourney.

2 tall fil for HS prospects have signed with san beda already.

Sir TM,

that's good to know.

the important thing is it's not only for school pride but also it's all about building a good foundation on the grassroot level

for a possible Gilas call-up moving forward esp. if the kid(s) are legit pinoy hafus.

being an outsider on both UAAP and NCAA because I didn't studied on any of the more prominent schools being a product of a public education system

I'm still watching the games of both leagues if I had the opportunity to do so because I'm a fan of the game.

if the NCAA management already decided with finality(?) the idea of recruiting FSA on the college level because of the narrative about "Filipino First"

then I think adopting FSA on the HS level is a noble thing to do.

adopting children with athletic abilities coming from an impoverish countries by teaching them, cloth them, nurture them is part of Biblical wisdom.

UAAP and NCAA member schools are predominantly Catholic schools and I don't think there would be an eventual conflict if we put the storyline about "Filipino First".

besides who knows maybe one of them became more talented than AK34 and Favour Onoh who btw. are not only athletically gifted but also had the brains.

the bottomline here is that the Philippines as a whole benefits all of this.

It is really up to the member schools. Maybe GMA7 can bring this matter up to the NCAA board.

Sir TM,

sorry but I am not that confident to our bias main stream medias on both sides.

they had no balls to ask significant questions that is very very relevant to Philippine Sports as a whole.

there's a lot of media peeps that is lurking around IBN and they are fully aware majority of the things we were discussing here

it's just that as I said "No Guts No Balls".

can't blame them "baka po magtampo sa bigas si Boss pare-pareho tayong lahat magutom" Trans. too touchy don't open up, don't back it up..

Feels like there hasnt been talks of any rule changes for season 100. Charles tiu said in that navs podcast he hasnt heard anything from their side so its looking less likely they would bring back fsa's in the near future. Because if they are planning to bring it back, teams shouldve already started bringin in guys to serve residency. Tho we'll see, we still have a couple of months left and things could still change. The wishful thinker in me hopes they do bring it back, seeing 6'3-6'4 centers are an eyesore.

Yeah and that should make umali reconsider his playing postion and shed a few pounds. He has the handles, range and IQ to be a good wing ala Big Mike Nieto but his fatass severly limits his play on the court.

Anyways you watched the Perpetual game? What a sorry loss haha. That was a good look for sanchez, too bad it rimmed out hahaha.
