NCAA Season 100

Commentator needs to quit shouting at the mic haha. He's too hyped. Feels like benilde is giving this game up. To many minutes to the third stringers and bubble guys and none of that main guys are present. Effort is not totally there. But credit to the filams if they ewin, they'll deserve it for sure.

The way csb played in the last quarter, they deserved to lose. Cant break the press, cant locate and defend shooters, wasting a 20 pt lead. Cmon now haha. I know the key guys are out but everyone's gotta do better especially those vying for spots. Cali team showed a lot of heart, wont be suprised if a couple of em gets recruited to play college ball locally.

They'll be fine, remember this is their 3rd game in 3 days. Most of those guys especially the bigs are probably exhausted at this point so when the other team suddenly showed up with an import, their work already got cut out for them. Sure the effort leads a lot more to be desired but for most of these guys, this is their first major burn in a long time. The goals of tourneys like this is more of preparation and giving everyone a chance to show what they got. In fact i wont even be surprised if they again most of the key guys in the last game.

I know man haha just having flashbacks of the heartbreak kids era lol. Just kinda out of chracter for this team to crack under pressure. This the first time i saw this batch squander a really big lead against a team they shouldve had no trouble beating.
 
Surprised to see Jolo Navarro join NU. Thought he's a lock for letran. Saw he's also a delta kid so even with gov coming next year he should still have a spot. Anyone know where former batang gilas player basti reyes ended up?
 
Benilde joins another tourney Manila Best. No other details yet but their will be 18 teams from uaap, ncaa and other college teams. So far letran has been named as another participant

TM Jude Roque, what now?????? Letran, Mapua and CSB are ramping up their recruitment for the next 2 to 3 years. Luckily for San Beda that most of these teams recruits will still not be eligible to play this season. But after Season 100, if Jude Roque and Yuri Escueta will not level up their recruitment game, San Beda is toast.
 
With ateneo on the verge of a rebuild, maybe its time fot MVP to allot more resources to San Beda, especially since San Beda are actually defending champs and all lol. Season 100 is the best time to win with only a couple of contenders this year. Season 101 onwards is just gonna get tougher with everyone improving. Even teams like Perpetual and Arellano got some good players.

Or look for a new (major) benefactor.
 
A very dismal offseason for San Beda. Bad habits being formed and hopefull will be addressed with a little over two months left going to Season 100.

The loss to CEU in the Dleague exposed many weaknesses of the team that at the moment remain unsolved.

Minor injuries affecting player availability isn’t helping as well.

I kinda feel like the The red cubs exodus a couple of years back will be felt more than ever this year and the succeeding seasons. Beda's succession plan after Yukien and payosing's batch were greatly affected. Come to think of it the last couple offseasons, is actually the first time i saw beda recruit a lot tranferees and hs dudes from other schools.
