Haha same projections as mine. Serrano imo has been a revelation this offseason, dude really took it upon himself to improve when he got relegated to team b last season and with mara gone he should be the defacto number 3 big. I do hope galas gets in somehow, big fan of his imporvement as well, when came in last year he was raw as hell haha

He's turning pro, stayed with valenzuela in the mpbl when the sgl deadline came up. Same with macoy marcos and taine davis. Tho they dont really need the 3 anymore and they're kinda old na rin naman for college hoops. Better to give their spots to the younger guys in the team.

Might be strategic haha so that other ncaa teams cant fully gauge how good they are coming to season 100 as well. Imo as a non bedan, your team still looks formidable and still has alot of deadly scorers that can go hot on any given day, talagang you just need that reliable big to make life easier for you on defemse and rebounding. Is nabbing sarmiento too late for you guys? Heard he hasnt committed to feu pa naman.

He's still kinda raw for me but mara leaving does open a spot for one of the forwards or bigs to get in. Though for me ill have to give it to arciaga as insurance. Losing liwag or turco will be disatrous if they only have 3 designated bigs.

I also think having a reliable big man will make a difference. That is why I think they should convince Gagate to move to Mendiola. HAHAHAHA. Someone said that Jude Roque is picky when it comes to picking a big man so unless that guy can dribble the ball, shoot 3, and have decent moves inside the paint, i do not think they will get him.

Haha i get it, atleast if the big man can shoot its a plus alreadt and ya'll have norman black naman so the big man skills can follow.

PICKY???? Hmm...He recruited Solano, Jopia, and Cuntapay.. Choosy nga. All of them are Gilas material:p

In fairness Jude went after Gani Stevens, Allen Liwag, Sean Alter and Luis Pablo. In recruitment, you win some and lose some. And there are factors which are beyond his control.

Haha but infairness to CRJ he did talk to some notable bigs. Among the bigs the TBC mentioned, the Liwag sweepstakes is disappointing. I believe his handler is a bedan so I was a bit shock that he went to Csb.

Its because of EOG, his agency, the lao's are major sponsors of it.

Liwag was already signed up early November 2022 to play in the semi-pro PSL for the Pampanga Royce which was bankrolled by SGA. He was already in the payroll of SGA. The news of him being courted out of EAC by CSB and SBU came weeks after that. San Beda does not allow its players to play in the PSL or MPBL unless you maxed out or skipped your remaining eligibility. So SBU knew already it will be difficult to recruit him.

More than a decade ago, we were able to convince a player not to play in the Pbl. I guess times have changed.
 
Mapua Cardinals will be playing Team B players later in Asiabasket, as Team A is schedule to fly to Japan tonight for pocket tournaments and leisure in Tokyo and Osaka.
