This idea was spawned from durden_tyler's Shaquiao thread. It got me thinking who were the NBA's biggest personalities, both bad and good, over the last 30 years? I grew up in the 80s so I am unsure of the personalities that came before me...
- Gilbert Arenas
- Magic Johnson
- Jayson Williams
- Dennis Rodman
- Shaquille O'Neal
- Charles Barkley
Am I missing anyone?

Quick question, is that the JaYson Williams (New Jersey Nets) who shot somebody with a shotgun or the JaSon Williams (Now with Orlando) who had different run-ins with mediamen and/or the fans?
Either way, you're on the mark since they have pretty much that ill reputation at one point or another.
i only remember the bad ones because the good ones are boring (and i just started to become addicted to the NBA in the 90s)... From the top of my head here's my list (i will try to make roster on this one)
SF -Ron Artest - Nicknamed himself Tru Warrior (actual spelling), who could forget the infamous DetrIOt brawl (with a fan!)
SG - JR Smith - He thinks he's superstar inside the court. Also had run-ins with police off it.
C- Rasheed Wallace - Feeds off pure emotions (has admitted this), he's a zombie out there if can't feed off his own emotions, and we've seen that last year.
PF - Antoine Walker - Reporter: Why do you shoot so many 3's? The Shimmy (his nickname): Because there are no 4's
PG - Jason Williams - (Albeit has matured the last 5-6 years) He once shouted to some Golden State fans some Asian-racist comments.
Deshawn Stevenson - i think he does this "you can't see me gesture" every time he hits a three. Infamous for pissing off Lebron James i think he called him overrated. From that point on Lebron destroyed the Wizards every time they meet.
Allen Iverson - "Practice, practice, practice." playoffs press conference. Love him or hate him you still love him.
Stephon Marbury - "Star"bury. Haha.
Chris Childs - Attempted and made a hay-maker on Kobe Bryant's face. i was soooo glad he did that.
