To me MJ has that magical touch that would always keep him the best, I don't see Kobe doing he has accomplished in terms of being the man in all 6 championships his team won, also Kobe has Jordan's signature on almost eveery aspect of his game many videos on Youtube would prove that.
- Now back to the topic Lebron is stronger better physically and more dominating, he is a better passer, one of the best to see the court, a better rebounder, and shot blocker, but Kobe still has an advantage of scoring easier, better shooter. Lebron has improved his 3 pt shot but still he has a long way before becoming the Kobe kind of shooter

LeBron is stronger than Kobe. lebron james, the king of basketball in nba now.
 
If we're talking about skill-wise only without the accomplishments that Kobe has over Lebron, right now Lebron is the better player because he can do more things on the court and is better defensively. Once Lebron gets that jumpshot going consistently, it's gonna be pretty scary.
 
LeBron has alot to do before he'll be close to Kobe... and i'm not some kind of Kobe freak or something like that...;)

Im no fan of this two players. I think lebron will beat all the record put by Kobe Bryant except the Championship trophy. He will be the new member of the club where Barkley, Malone, Ewing, Stockton and Reggie Miller belongs. HE CAN GET AS MANY MVP TROPHY BUT WILL NEVER GET A SINGLE CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY unless Kobe makes an early retirement. That the irony. Mark my word.
 
i'm not "kobe fan" or "lebron fan" but i think there shouldn't be any doubt, kobe is way better. right now, lebron doesn't even worth this thread comparing him to kobe.

You guys are crazy. Every advanced statistic (PER, +/-, offensive and defensive win shares, etc.)out there favors Lebron at this point. The only thing that (maybe) Kobe's got on Lebron is the 'who should take the last shot' argument but even then, if you look at the statistics, Lebron beats out Kobe. Kobe is still phenomenal but he has been on the natural decline a player makes as he enters his 30s while Lebron is entering his prime which for virtually every NBA star has been ages 25-29.
 
Both players are great. Right now, Kobe is the better player. However, everybody knows that Lebron is the more talented player of the two.
