The Denver Nuggets have reportedly withdrew the Extension Offer Sheet worth $65 Million to Carmelo Anthony and the front office are officially listening to offer sheets in terms of trade proposals to other teams.

So, the management is willing to let go of Melo?

Half-heartedly to say the least of the situation. The Nuggets have not placed him on the trading block but opened its communication lines for bidding in terms of trade proposals from other teams. On which the Nuggets are making sure that they will have the best offer and compensation upon parting with their franchise player.

Since Anthony did not sign the Extension Sheet that the management had offered to him during the summer, and was given ample duration time to sign, naturally they will withdraw the offer sheet for dignified reasons.

There are lessons to be learned when your Franchise Player, in all indications; will depart for free agency. Its just a matter of not being left empty handed. The Nuggets are looking to trade him for young pieces to build on, expiring contracts to clear some cap space and first round draft picks, all in total.

2 Time NBA Champion Adam Morrison has accepted the Washington Wizards training camp invite and will sign a non-guaranteed contract.

The Philadelphia 76ers have shipped center Jason Smith and Willie Green to the New Orleans Hornets for forward Darius Songaila and guard Craig Brackins.

The New York Knicks have signed Shawne Williams to a non-guaranteed contract.

The Golden State Warriors and Head Coach Don Nelson have agreed in principle of resignation where Assistant Coach Keith Smart will be the new head coach as Nelson has opted to resign and forgo the 1 year, $6 Million on his contract and negotiate for a settlement.

The Washington Wizards have extended Center / Forward Andray Blatche with an extension sheet reportedly worth $30 Million running to the 2014-2015 season. While the Wizards have exercised the 4th year Team Option for Center JaVale McGee.

Here's a trade that the NBA is waiting for and the only missing step is the Denver Nuggets' approval.

The trade would send Anthony to the Nets, with Denver getting Derrick Favors, the third pick overall in last June's Draft, along with forward Andrei Kirilenko from the Utah Jazz and two first-round draft picks -- including the 2012 first-round pick the Nets got from Golden State this summer in a trade for guard Marcus Williams. The pick is protected through the seventh pick in the first round, so if Golden State were to get one of the top seven picks that year the Nets -- and, if the deal goes through, the Nuggets -- would get a first-rounder in 2013, also protected through the seventh pick.

The Nets would then send point guard Devin Harris to the Charlotte Bobcats. The Bobcats would send forward Boris Diaw to the Utah Jazz. The Nets, who would obviously need a point guard if they trade Harris, were still trying late Friday to get Charlotte to put guard D.J. Augustin into the deal. If the trade were to go through without Augustin New Jersey would start newly signed free agent Jordan Farmar at the point.

Utah would exchange Kirilenko, who had a bounce-back year last season, in exchange for Diaw in order to get under the $70.3 million luxury tax threshold for next season, according to a league source. Kirilenko will make $17.8 million this season while Diaw makes just $9 million.

This would be a blockbuster and it is circulating all over espn, nba.com, etc. but I still don't see how this would happen.

The big roadblock is that Carmelo only has 1 more year left on his contract and if he goes to the Nets why would he sign an extension? The Nets would basically be renting Carmelo for a year........at the price of losing Devin Harris and Derrick Favors (who could be very special down the road).

The Nets don't have the pieces right now to make them contenders and Carmelo wants to go to a place where they can contend either this year or in the very near future.

It will be interesting to see what happens.......

I agree. I feel for the Nets as they lose Favors and Harris on which that does not bode well. While the Jazz looks to dislodge Kirilenko to free up some salary cap space.

The New Olreans Hornets have signed point guard Jannero Pargo to a undisclosed deal.

The Utah Jazz have signed re-signed center Kyrylo Fasenko to a 1 year, Qualifying Offer worth $1 Million.

The Los Angeles Clippers have exercised the Team Options for the contracts of guard Eric Gordon and forward Blake Griffin for the 2011-2012 season and both players are assured of a guaranteed contract come that year.

The Golden State Warriors have exercised the third year option of guard Stephen Curry for the 2011-2012 season.

The Atlanta Hawks are preparing a Contract Extension Sheet for Center Al Horford.

Please re-sign Al Horford Hawks!

It will be a matter of time before the Atlanta Hawks offer an extension sheet for Horford; whereas the latter is expected to sign. Rumor has it that the 5 year extension is worth around $55 Million on a 5 year span. Looks like Jamal Crawford could be shipped as I think that the Hawks are not too keen on extending Crawford for long term.

I love Jamal I hope he gets to play with a better contender for the tittle.

rumor has it, Horford wants to play on a team with a real Starting Center and a Passing-First point guard. so I don't see Horford re-signing unless he has a real horrible year.
