Potential Destinations for NBA Big Names

Potential Destinations for NBA Big Names

Shaquille O'neal: New Jersey, Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks

Allen Iverson: Philadelphia 76ers

Tracy McGrady: Chicago Bulls, LA Clippers

You see names like Shaquille O'neal, Allen Iverson and Tracy McGrady all without a team despite being on the free agency. If this was year 2000, Teams would have scrambled to get them.:p

I think I read (on Hoopshype) that the Heat were looking at T-Mac, but I don't see that happening. I might like to see him in Cleveland if he signs a cheap contract, but we can't overpay him.

What can we do now about The Machine? :D

Well, Sasha Vujacic's expiring contract is the reason why the Los Angeles Lakers are trying to move him as to gain the financial flexibility to re-sign guard Shannon Brown and draft picks Devin Ebanks and Derick Caracter.

Upon trading Sasha Vujacic, the team that receives him will most likely waive him or secure a buy-out. Then The Machine will sign with the Miami Heat as his rumored girlfriend Maria Sharapova lives in Miami.:p

Then the Lakers and Heat will meet at the NBA 2011 Finals and Sasha Vujacic will make the game winning shot or clutch free-throws.:D

I call that Scenario: Sashanator: Rise of the Machine for the Heat and Rage Against the Machine for the Lakers.:D

Seriously, it could happen because stranger things have happened on the NBA.
