The Tulsa 66ers vs. Texas Legends is interesting. For one, both are being lead by foreign coaches. Tulsa with Serbian head coach Darko Rajakovic and Texas under Mexico's Eduardo Najera.
 
Great game by Houston Rockets rookies Donatas Motiejunas and Scott Machado for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Rockets General Manager Darly Morey was in attendance to witness his rookies.

When asked about Royce White, Morey refused to go into detail but said that they never planned for White to play for the Vipers, but said that the Rockets are addressing White's special needs.
 
The Oklahoma City Thunder have sent rookie guard Jeremy Lamb to the Tulsa 66ers.
 
Atlanta Hawks assign rookies John Jenkins and Mike Scott to the Bakersfield Jam.
 
Former Miami HEAT prospect Jarvis Varnardo is tearing it up. 5.7 blocks per game to and a almost a double double in points and rebounds averages to lead Sioux Falls to a 3-0 start.
 
Mexico's state of Veracruz are sponsors of the Texas Legends.

Sacramento Kings recall forward Tyler Honeycutt from the Reno BigHorns. It must mean that either Tyreke Evans or Marcus Thornton will miss some more games due to their respective situations.
 
A couple of NBA solid players are using the D-League for a rehab: Amare Stoudemire (NY) has been practicing with the Erie BayHawks and Kawhi Leonard (SA) with the Austin Toros.

Two good D-League call ups:

Jarvis Varnado / Sioux Falls is set to sign with the Boston Celtics. Celtics President Danny Ainge hopes that Varnado, a former Miami HEAT draft pick and tryout will fill the gap left behind by veteran bigman Chris Wilcox.

Chris Douglas - Roberts / Texas Legends debuted and played for the Dallas Mavericks, but they were routed by the San Antonio Spurs. He fills up the spot of the recently waived Derek Fisher. CDR bounced around after his New Jersey and Milwaukee Bucks debut. Played in Italy last season and was even in the training camp of the LA Lakers, but management had Jodie Meeks.
 
James Anderson of the Rio Grande Valley Vipers got his second call up of the season. Anderson signed with the Houston Rockets this morning. Anderson last month got a call up and signed with the Spurs before being waived and finding himself back in the D-League before Christmas.
 
Congratulations to Fort Wayne Mad Ants forward Luke Harangody, for being named NBA D-League player of the week. Lead Fort Wayne to a 3-0 week.

Also, Hassan Whiteside, the former Sacramento Kings is enjoying success with Sioux Falls.
 
ESPN reports that the Texas Legends are interested in signing former NBA All Star Allen Iverson.
 
The NBA D-League claims that Lin is the biggest D-League success story. From the Reno BigHorns to the Erie BayHawks.:cool:
