I really dont get how on earth the majority of fans can applaud the Draft bullshid.I just dont get it.

I felt pity for that good-natured looking Blake Griffin kid.Maybe he didnt have the courage to come over and take the challenges of Europe (sportive,cultural etc.).Neighbour,it is high time somebody said "The King is naked !" and "Shove it !"

If they tried to bring the Draft,cap,tax and all the other bullshid to Greece or Europe there would probly be great fury and mass riots, right?

I don't know why you're so obsessed with this "slave" thing. You can make analogies as you wish, but in this context it doesn't make any sense at all, especially if we are comparing other organizations to NBA (a closed league, which has to keep a certain level in order to survive). Do you think every non-NBA player can play wherever he likes? Remember the Navarro or Scola cases? As long as you agree to certain contracts by your free will, you have to abide by it.

And if a player doesn't like to be bought as a commodity, he may just skip the draft and can search a contract from his favorite team. I really don't know if there's any rule against this.

Blake Griffin would be a real idiot if he preferred any EL club at this stage instead of any NBA club (even the Clippers).

I was thinking about these "undrafted" guys. But I found out now that first they must enter the draft, and only when they don't get selected, they can sign with a NBA team.

Well to me these draftees look like virtual slaves except they dont have the ball-chain combos,dont spin around,open their mouths and have the teeth checked out."Free Will" is the key here.There is no such thing as FREE WILL or FREEDOM OF CHOICE in draft.
No FREE will = virtual SLAVERY

I dont remember anyone skipping the Draft ccrapp .It seems you cant escape it.

Since Ricky Rubio was force by the NBA to enter the Draft against his will, I guess. I heard the told him, they'd kill his lil sister, if he refused to declare for the Draft.

Shame on YOU "NBA".

Rubio should play in the EUROPEAN COUNTRY of Turkey instead. I've heard they actually pay in EUROS over there, believe it or not

:D. Let's calm down becuz i think that this thread will turn into a fight:p. But as Lewis mentioned, there's nothing wrong with the NBA rules and if players like Rubio dont want to play in the States they don't have 2.:)

evans plays the 2, and so does The Kings' best player,he way to short to play the 3, and is not a real point guard either, so don't him to get starting minutes, at leat till the kings trade someone to open a spot fro him in the rotation. Maybe Beno Udrih

When there is some North American :D THING :D involved ,we ,the Turks,often happen to feel attached to Europe .Maybe because we ruled some parts of Europe for some time or we are bordering Europe now or maybe we do have a huge a-ss ocean between the very continents.How many kilometers that gap is,you tell me.

You know what? We aint really too anal about geographical epithets and shid and ok we ,the Turks, are sort of / semi / pseudo Europeans ,only bordering Europe or NOT Europeans at all !

Sure,Rubio did make a stupid mistake entering the Draft nonsense.
Who is argueing here ?
We just hope that Rubio would be the last European talent to get humiliated through some ridiculous practice - the Draft.

Rubio would look dashing in the Efes Pilsen jersey.And it would be waayyyy too more remarkable to win the EL trophy than playing for some struggling team.
