NBA 2021-22 season.

21/22 season has officially started with the opening of the training camps on Sep. 28th... Some teams had their scrimmage games on Saturday and most will have theirs on Sunday. The scheduled preseason games start on Sunday too with the Lakers vs. Nets game, while the rest of the teams enter the arenas for their first preseason game on Tuesday and Wednesday... Then, after the teams will have all their preseason games, the regular season starts on Oct the 19th.


This season almost all teams have improved further than they already were during the previous season and therefore the competition is expected to be at the highest level it's ever been before.

Some interesting points:

1. The East has already from the previous season become stronger than the West and this season the gap is expected to rise further with the emergence of the Heat, the Bulls and the Knicks to threaten the existing favorites on the Bucks and the Nets... Only team in the East which is expected to take a step back are the Sixers after the internal crises that the "Ben Simmons problem" has induced.

2. The West otoh. looks pretty much stable, but only with the favorite to win it Lakers having once more completely shuffled their roster to collect 10 "big name" veterans in order to help LBJ to win a 4th title in what is expected to be the final season of his career, albeit, all 10 of them are deep to the wrong side of the 30s and near the end of their own careers...

The favorites:

East: Nets, Bucks, Heat

West:: Lakers, Suns

The "dark horses":

East: Sixers, Hawks, Knicks, Bulls

West: Jazz, Clippers, Warriors, Nugets* (provided Jamal Murray is healthy)

Nets vs. Bucks preseason game 10/8/2021...

The Bucks lost in clutch minutes against a full (but Kyrie) Nets team, but have eventually bullied the Nets and made clear on "who's the boss in the league"... The Bucks not only didn't play any of their starters, but didn't even play any of their coming off the bench replacements either... It was deep roster (Nwora, "Thanasty"), rookies selected deeper than No55 which haven't even have an official NBA game as of yet (Kalaitzakis, Mamukelashvily) and players which were rejected from being drafted or soon after being drafted which have practically humiliated what is projected as being "the league's best roster"... A clear win for the Bucks and the most bitter and humiliating "win" in the entire Nets history ever...
 
K.Irving is such an selfish asshole jeazas christ biggest primadona in years in nba.

Nets did the right desicion about Irving. If in next week Irving dont get that no player can put himself higher than entire team such player must leave.

Nets should call Sixers and propose your problem for my problem.

Add to Nets such teriffic defender like B.Simmons that you can put on Giannis or Lebron for 40min it would be game changer.

Nets need defence last thing they need from B.Simmons points its win win situation for both Nets and Simmons.

You think that Simmons is a good fit for the Nets? I have my doubts, but if we suppose that you're right, why would the Sixers make such a trade? I mean if Irving keeps refusing to be vaccinated, he won't play for the Sixers either... isn't it? How then is this a solution for the Sixers?
 
Despite a ton of major injuries that now includes Jrue Holiday going down afte the 1st quarter, the Bucks looked scary absolutely blowing out the Nets by 23pts (127-104) and make a declaration on who's the boss.
 
It's only halfway mid season and it is quite clear that the entire league has taken another step forward,,, As far as the contenders are concerned, it's also quite clear that the East is by far more competitive than the West, where one can't really expect any other than the Suns or the Warriors making out of the batch to the NBA finals...

At the East, it's a mixed case right now, but one should expect the Bulls to be a 2nd round exit during the postseason and the Bucks, the Heat and the Nets having to fight each other for who promotes in the finals... Once again, health and conditioning seems to be a crucial factor, but if all teams are healthy, the Bucks seem to have the clear advantage by looking really scary on the court when they are fully healthy...

It's clear, however, that the East is far more competitive than West.

Scariest players to face in playoofs Durant and Doncic

dark horse teams Celtics and Mavericks

First team nba Jokic,Embid,Giannis,Luka,Morant if 2 centers is not allowed my other forward is Tatum (KD didnt play enough games)

conclusion : alot of in playoofs gonna be decided by injuries like last year ,i dont see clear cut favourite to win it all.

I love watching Pascal Siakam this season and especially last couple of weeks. Dude is becoming a really really serious player.

Suns looks like a team to beat, they have everything, great scorers, great defenders, great leader/veteran, incredibly deep roster... Far the most complete team in Nba at the moment.

East is wide open, anything can happen there. But Suns, if they came through West and healthy, will be clear favourites.

I watch a lot of Mavs, who are having great chance to finish 3rd, which is fantastic result with roster they have. But they're few players away to really contending for the title. They need to get solid big foremost.

The most underrated team are Grizzlies. They're 19/2 without Morant, mostly winning with big margin, what is just incredible.

Grizzlies being better without Morant makes him a little overrated imho, I would put Tatum, who is essential for Celtics, over him in first team Nba.

When I written a week ago I didnt know Morant won't play till playoofs.He will miss way too much games no chance making first team now.

Tatum and Booker it seems made real progress in voters eyes.I guess Booker takes Morant place in first team.

Lately nba was fantastic to watch real playoffs atmosphere games teams going hard to get higher seed

Lots of games where top 8 teams playing each other.

As fan I want to see Bucks-Nets part 2 for sure.

Giannis vs Durant

Most times they meet it classic game decided in last 10 seconds.


Healthy Warriors vs Suns

Curry Vs Paul part 4

Best backourt till 2019 vs best backourt 2022

Luka Doncic is best high pikenrool player in history of basketball.I never saw any player manipulate picks on such diffrent levels.

Just watching him my brain hurts because i dont know what to suggest defenders againts him :) I can only imagine what head spinning is guarding him in those picks .

2 playoofs serries people were laughing at Kawhi and George,Batum elite defenders that they couldnt slow him down.

Nobody will slow him teams will need to outscore him.


Luka put a such masterpiece 32pts+15assist againts champs that even greak freak look like human in todays game.

Jrue described it perfectly, "Luka can score at all three levels," Holiday said. "Whether it's one-on-one or screen-and-roll, so the first thing is try to stop the ball and keep him in front of you. The next thing is the guy that he is playing with, which is the screener. You got to try to be in there and show bodies. Make it crowded so that it doesn't make it look like he's open. Then you got the weak side.

Luka makes very limited Powell a very good C. The same goes with other Mavs role players. It's just incredible how much he elevate Mavs' ceiling. They will have home court advantage and without him they would have been a lottery team.
