A real challenge for the Puerto Rican Team, as they face the difficult task of overcoming the absences of centers Peter John Ramos, Danny Santiago and the retirement of Puerto Rican Legend Jose "Piculin" Ortiz, they head out with one of their shortest lineups in years, nevertheless, the guys have made their adjustments and most of them are top scorers, here is the official lineup of the "magnificent 12" :

Carlos Arroyo - point guard

Bobby Joe Hatton - point guard

Filiberto Rivera - point guard

Christian Dalmau - point guard/shooting guard

Rick Apodaca - shooting guard

Larry Ayuso - shooting guard/small forward

Angel "Buster" Figueroa - small forward

Carmelo Antrone Lee - small forward/power forward

Sharif Fajardo - power forward/center

Antonio "Puruco" Latimer - power forward/center

Hector Valenzuela - center

Manuel Narvaez - center

we went with a smaller team to CentroBasket 2004 and we end up with a Silver medal, losing the gold by only one point, in a team where Arroyo, neither Puruco were not playing and our only center was fragile Peter John Ramos. So im optimistic. They should have cutted Filiberto Rivera

I just read that the last cut was between Filiberto Rivera & Bimbo Carmona, and the "tossed a coin" to see who was going to be cut and i would've went with Bimbo all the way, a better, taller scorer, but because Fili was the league's MVP in the Finals, they chose him.
