This will be interesting on how he will fit into the Bucks system as they already have enough swingmen but need more offensive fire power as the Bucks have been struggling as of late in terms of their offense.

I am also eager on how Redd's role on the offense as well. Gone are the days when he was the main artillery on offense and Redd himself also admitted that things will never be the same for him on the Bucks, from what was once. I think Redd will definitely come off the bench and be relegated to more of a spot-up role or shooter role and it goes with his main strength: shooting. Despite losing the explosiveness from his early years.

Redd can still be potent on shooting and is something that can complement the inside game of center, Andrew Bogut.

The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Garrett Temple to a second 10-day contract.

Milwaukee Bucks 102 Los Angeles Clippers 78

Seven Bucks players scored double figures lead by Carlos Delfino who scored a team high 26 points and next was Brandon Jennings with 20 points.

Shooting guard Michael Redd has been re-activated into the active lineup.

Milwaukee Bucks 94 Minnesota Timberwolves 88

Brandon Jennings scored a team best 27 points alongside dishing out 7 assists.

Can the Bucks make the playoffs?

Can the Bucks make the playoffs?

Can the Bucks make the playoffs?

Now that's the question many Bucks fans or in my case Bogut fans are wondering.

Or will the lads miss the playoffs by only a few games?

What are the factors on why the season has gone so wrong?

The Bucks were expected to be threatening to push for a top 4 finish in the East but now they are fighting for their lives for the 8th position.

Was it the injuries?
Were the new additions overrated?
Was Bogut brought back too early?
Was it a lack of chemistry?

Injuries were the focal point of the Bucks' struggles this season. Starting with mainly Bogut who was in my opinion prematurely inserted into the lineup. But it is a sink or swim decision as the Bucks could have certainly won less games without Bogut. The rotating injuries to key players hampered the on-court cohesion of the team on which as this point, just like last year, the team should be jelling to play better.

Jennings, Boykins lead Bucks over Cavs

MILWAUKEE (AP)—Brandon Jennings(notes) and Earl Boykins(notes) each scored 18 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 110-90 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
Boykins had all of his points in the first half, then Jennings scored 14 in the third quarter as Milwaukee enjoyed its second blowout in two days, thanks to 55.1 percent shooting.

The Bucks, who won 95-76 on Tuesday at Washington, have won back-to-back games for the first time since Jan. 28-29.
Samardo Samuels(notes) scored 11 of his 15 points in the first quarter for Cleveland, which lost for the fifth time in six games. The Cavaliers, 4-28 on the road, also 13 points from Daniel Gibson(notes).
Baron Davis(notes), Cleveland’s leading scorer since being traded to the Cavaliers, missed the game due to the death of his grandmother.
After shooting 60.5 percent in the first half for a 62-49 lead at the break, Milwaukee extended its lead by opening the third quarter with a 14-4 run.
Jennings contributed 10 points during the stretch, and his second 3-pointer of the run gave his team its largest lead, 76-53, with 6:22 left.
Milwaukee took control by shooting 70 percent (14 of 20) and scoring 39 points in the second quarter. Boykins made all six of his shots in the period, and he started and capped a 17-2 run by the Bucks.
His jump shot gave Milwaukee a 38-35 lead with 6:54 remaining and his layup extended the advantage to 53-37 with 3:26 to play.
A 3-pointer by John Salmons(notes) gave Milwaukee a 58-41 lead, its biggest of the half, with 2:11 left.
Notes: Cleveland won the opening tip, but Anthony Parker(notes) was called for an 8-second violation after slight pressure from Salmons. The Bucks’ 39 second-quarter points and 62 first-half points were both two points shy of equaling season highs. Milwaukee’s Corey Maggette(notes) missed his second game in a row with a sore right knee and Ersan Ilyasova(notes) has not played in the last six games due to a concussion. Cleveland’s Luke Harangody(notes) missed his second consecutive game with a right hip pointer. This was the Cavaliers’ first visit to Milwaukee this season and their second road game since Feb. 7. The Bucks are 16-16 at home.

40th Championship Anniversary

40th Championship Anniversary

2011 marks the 40th anniversary of the Milwuakee Bucks championship team where the 1970-1971 Milwaukee Bucks captured the franchise's first NBA Championship.

Oscar Robertson despite his decorated individual accolades and accomplishments, lacked one key element on securing his place on the NBA's Greatest players: A Championship. That all changed in the eve of the 1970-1971 season where the Cincinnati Royals traded Robertson alongside teammates Lucius Allen and Bob Boozer to the young expansion team that is the Milwaukee Bucks.

The championship formula was in place and all the Bucks needed was that trade with Cincinnati as the Bucks had hall of fame player Larry Costello as coach. They had a brilliant center piece in young center Kareem Abdul Jabbar as well as a blend of youth and veterans on its roster like Greg Smith, Bob Dandridge and Jon McGlocklin.

The addition of Robertson, Allen and Boozer were all that needed as Milwaukee stomped its way out of the regular season where the Bucks would hold the league best record of 66-16 and the top seed on the playoffs.

Milwaukee met the San Francisco Warriors on the first round with the Bucks winning the series 4-1. Then the Bucks dismantled an aging Los Angeles Lakers to win the series 4-1.

Then at the NBA 1971 Finals, the Bucks met the upstart Baltimore Bullets but the Bucks would not be stopped as the Bucks swept the series; the second Finals series sweep on NBA history.

Great write-up, CKR! I liked that a lot. Thanks for reminding us.

Oscar Robertson was great. In my opinion, he is one of the best basketball players of all time...up there with Schmidt, Sabonis, Kareem and a few others. An absolute magician with a great cunning mind for the game.

Redd plans to return against New York

Redd plans to return against New York

Shooting guard Michael Redd confirmed that he will play this coming Friday against the New York Knicks.

Milwaukee Bucks 102 New York Knicks 96

Point guard Brandon Jennings scored a team high 37 points while center Andrew Bogut scored 21 points alongside 17 rebounds, 2 steals and 4 blocks.

This is how ...

This is how ...

This is how the Bucks should get it done: their usual D and let the offense revolve around Bogut & Jennings.

They are a good/ excellent defensive team (which is the reason why even though they have struggled offensively, they are still in the playoff hunt) and thus, they (The Bucks) just have to improve their offense.

Tonight, the Bucks should that they can mix it with teams like the Knicks and teams in the East should still "Fear the Deer".

Hopefully, the Bucks can make the playoffs and if not, I still think that they had an above average season as they had been depleted with so many injuries.

GO BUCKS! GO BOGUT!

Extreamly disappointing season for the Bucks. I was expecting much more!

Milwaukee Bucks 108 Cleveland Cavaliers 101

The Milwaukee Bucks winning despite center Andrew Bogut being shutdown for the season for a scheduled operation on his right elbow. Drew Gooden filled a huge void on the center with a Triple Double game of 15 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists despite fouling out of the game. Gooden also had 2 blocks.

John Salmons scored a team high 32 points.

The Milwaukee Bucks through General Manager John Hammond have announced that they will be exercising the Team Option on the contract of forward Carlos Delfino for the 2011-2012 season.

Delfino is to make $3.5 Million next season.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Chris Douglas Roberts tweeted the following last night as the news of Osama Bin Laden reportedly dead.

“It took 919,967 deaths to kill that one guy. ... It took 10 years & 2 Wars to kill that...guy. It cost us (USA) roughly $1,188,263,000,000 to kill that guy. But we #winning though. Haaaa. (Sarcasm).”

Here's an article about it.
