Milos Teodosic and the NBA

Teodosic doesn't want to go to the game. He is much like Bodiroga when it comes to terms of not caring for the NBA. Also, his poor athleticism and lazy work-rate would keep him on the bench for the rest of his career. Teodosic knows how to play defense but he doesn't want to. He is one the laziest Serbian players I have ever seen. He's not really as slow as some of you think. Look at him closely in games he knows how to burst when he wants to. Sure, he's not a speed demon like Markovic but he knows how to get around players with ease using his basketball IQ.

I fully agree. He is in fact too fast sometimes, at least taking decissions.

No need to be so defensive, No ones trying to take your player! Its just that the NBA is the league with the best players so its natural to wonder how a guy would fit in. I think Teodosic could play and contribute to an NBA team, but it would have to be the right situation. A fast break team with a coach who understands Europe (Mike D'antoni?). He would have trouble guarding NBA pg's but to be honest this is the best crop of NBA pg's ever, and with the perimeter hand check rules NO ONE can guard the top NBA pgs. But he's tough, a little nasty, and has big big balls. I think one of the biggest challenges players coming from europe face is the best chance they have to play right away is to get on a bad team. And if in the NBA unlike europe, when your out of the playoffs, there's no domestic league to contend in, no cups. So unless he gets a guarantee of playing time, why would he leave? Hes the MVP and gets to contend for Euroleague Championships and Greek League Cups.
