To me it's not really a big deal. It's a professional sports team and I don't expect good people to be involved in that atmosphere. I don't agree with him and thinks he's an idiot. American jews and Israelies are polar opposites and aren't comparable. It's not like he's the only one. Universities are full of classes that blame Israel for all the worlds problems and occasionally preach similar content. Worst things are considered common sense on Golf Course. The news media is tongue-and-cheek supported terrorism against Israel. What offends me is that the nba is a water-down product because they refuse to acquire better foreign talent including from israel. The NBA would rather provide on-the-job training for future role players or busts.

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- Former NBA player Micheal Ray Richardson was suspended by the Continental Basketball Association on Wednesday for anti-Semitic comments the Albany Patroons' coach made in a newspaper interview.

Richardson will miss the rest of the CBA's best-of-five championship series after he told The Albany Times Union that he had "big-time Jew lawyers" working for him.

"They got a lot of power in this world, you know what I mean? Which I think is great," Richardson told The Times Union on Tuesday. "I don't think there's nothing wrong with it. If you look in most professional sports, they're run by Jewish people. If you look at a lot of most successful corporations and stuff, more businesses, they're run by Jewish. It's not a knock, but they are some crafty people."

Never said locker rooms are PC, however what Richardson said was to a reporter if I'm not mistaken. BTW, in respect to Jews (not Israel, but Jews) can you tell me who in the media and universities, and what they said about Jews?

I would also prefer that some Israelis play in the L too, but talent wise that hasn't - with some exceptions in my opinion - hasn't been the case. Also, if you remember, when you first post this about Israelis not getting chances I responded:

Doron Sheffer wanted a guarenteed contract from the Clippers, who didn't think he was worth it. The Knicks were ready to sign Oded Katache, but the strike (and later injury) ended that. Yaniv Green was somewhat wanted by Detroit, but he got a better deal from Maccabi. Amit Tamir (Magic?) and Meir Tapiro (Heat) both - unsuccessfully - played on summer rosters. While supposedly the Pistons were interrested in Tal Burstein before he got hurt.
