Moerman is one of worst PFs in the competition. Dacka is such unbalanced team with great backcourt and awful frontcourt excluding Zizic.

blATT mtais reported voice by sportando. about invetiments, i abolutely think blatt cold be the key to save money. a very tactical moviment. trinchieri would be the name if we really wold like to built a great team with a great coach

Blatt is not a cheap movement. It's a very expensive movement.
Blatt is an Israeli citizen who lives and works outside the country. He also happens to be sitting on a $20M long term contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. That means, according to Israeli tax law, he must stay abroad for 5 years and only then he can return as a "repatriate" and be exempt from very high taxation - millions of dollars.
If Maccabi brings him back now, he would have to pay that high tax (which means, from a financial standpoint, he is better off staying abroad unemployed...) or Maccabi would have to compensate him millions of dollars for the difference in taxation.

building a f4 team is much more expensive than bringing blatt and building a mediocre roster.i'll not be surprised if somebody is thinking this way in mta. techinically i'd never add blatt. an overvaluated coach. great defensively but mediocre offensively. trinchieri is the right one name. laso,in case he will decide to leave madrid or bartzokas. those are greatest eu coach

Nobody would pay Blatt millions of dollars just to compensate for the tax he would have to pay. He is not an option.

obviously he isn't, pure bullshit. I read that "article", there is nothing, only a speculation made by Fox Sports based on the fact that Blatt and Bagatskis had worked together.

Apart from this inexistent question, i am sure that Bagatskis won't accept to be the second of anyone. He will rightly pretend to stay as the head coach, otherwise he will go elsewhere.

An article in the Israel economics website Calcalist, discussing a possible sale of Maccabi, puts Maccabi's budget for this year at 115M Israeli shekels. That's even higher than i thought. According to the article, the team is estimated to lose 20M shekels this year.
Add that to the big losses last year, and you'll see why nobody can expect owners to lose that much money personally. What we can expect is for them to put their money in capable hands that would use it wisely.

since mta fans and owners are so blind about actual situation, would be so important to loose the league too. it could be the lonely way to let them learn what a revolution and invetsiments we' d need . til on emonth ago there were fans who were asking to confirm iverson and bagas for example. no way, passion is a bad bad guide to learn. the first step is the harest:to find a new owner.
anyay we need to change coach the day after last season match (trinchieri and bartzokas would be the right names), and changing all players excet gould and miller (if in health), adding ex-yu and europeans players with high shoting ability .betting on jumpers american will kill us again

Goudelock is not worth $2M (that's his net salary for next season if he stays).

indeed, it is a high salary. There could be better solutions but also worse ones, Calathes (a complete disaster this year) earns 2 millions. Langford who shoots crazily in every game i think he earns a lot of money too.

Considering that there a lot of players to be changed i would keep him. But he has to be paired with a good pg with great passing abilities. Otherwise i can agree that his presence could damage the team if he is going to play pg himself again.

Sometimes he could even play as "3", he is a quite good rebounder. But he will never be a pg.

100% agree

If Federman won't sell his part, MTA will be crash financic next season, and will be all, but close

i guess he could probably sell but is hard to find a buyer. is much more realistic, thinking of a new partner with federman and mizrahi

this explains why no player was replaced during the season.

I can't beleive that there are not any rich hebrew businessmen who are willing to invest some money in this glorious team. In Israel or abroad.

except when we builted team to win finals in tel aviv we never had a big budget, but we historically had great scouting. actually vujicic recomendations are much worst than our past scouting men.i guess it wouldnt be hard to find americans investor . a bball eu team is not such expensive for companies or rich men who want to open new european markets. euroleague is having year by year a great impact on tv schedule from all over countries. problem is , that we need federman mizrahi would be open to sell parts of the club

shivek and sherf are imo lonely two real good il coaches. obvously mta cant start new season with shivek but anyway i'd like sombody could write here what he said in his first press cnference since on mta site ,is obviously in ebrew
