Just to let you guys know that two Puertoricans are in the last 16 team battling for the Final Eight (8) ULEB Final which will be held in Italy. Andres Rodriguez who's team once again was not supposed to even make the final 32 and are one game away from advancing and C. Dalmau who's team is a power house and is expected to advanced.
I totally agree with you that he would have to beat Rodriguez for the spot..but in PR winning is not that important..is your Points per game that people look at....
C. Dalmau is playing a lot better this year, he has change his approach from a shoot first and shoot second to a shoot first Pass second..and you can tell be the points per game from the other players in the team and his Attempts and turnover are down....

sorry, I wanted to log this season as I logged last season but college, work and me followiing my Cariduros have kept me away from posting the stats ( I need time to sleep 
)
Well, with 3 games to go for every team, only Caguas and Arecibo have clinched their Super 6 spot, both from the Isla Division.
The Metro Division is pretty much for grabs, since every team there has a winning record and there is only a 2 game difference between 1st place teams Fajardo (17-12) and Carolina (17-12) and last place Bayamon Vaqueros (15-14)

Mayaguez and Guayama already gave up on the season
Quebradillas Piratas will return next season, along with Coamo Maratonistas.
Quebradillas will get the first overall pick on the 2009 BSN Draft (probably Virginia Tech's SF AD Vasallo)
Ivan Lopez got suspended indefinitely after an incident where he allegedly threatened with a gun his HC Manolo Cintron (also NT Head Coach)
