Back to back +20pts games for Marciulionis. I expected even better three point shooting % than 35%. Nailed 4/5 last night which is a career high. His shot looks much more established, like polished. I believe he will be better shooter than Jokubaitis. I mean three point shooting. He can shoot more off the dribble, he has quicker release in catch and shoot situation.

It will be really fun to follow who will have an upper hand fighting for back-up PG spot long term between Jokubaitis and Marciulionis. Jokubaitis better enjoy his +25mpg in Eurobasket cause it's probably the last tournament when he will have such luxury.

Today for the first time I seen people dropping KJ as second overall in twitter.

LTU three PG studs in last game:

KJ 24pts (back to back), 6as
Jokubaitis 27pts, 8as
Marciulionis 24pts, 6as

This trio is prevailing. I do believe it's the best PG section in Europe in the making.

In previous game Marciulionis had 18pts, 10as, 6rbs, 4stls. That is a massive stat line. In last 3 game, he averages 20,6ppg, 7,6apg, 3,6rpg, 3,6spg. That's a dominance mode. One commentator said "I think he will be in the NBA cause he just has all the intangibles that every good point guard has - timeliness, toughness, ability to defend, make plays for others". I don't know about NBA, but he just keeps getting better and better. His skillset is getting polished in it seems like he can go like this for another 2-3 years when he will be slowly meeting his early prime years at 25 or so. To me, he lacks a degree of burst and explosiveness to be in the NBA, but the projections slowly catch up with him. He would surely deserve too be in the second round in some worse drafts, maybe he can sneak into this year, but it's less likely.

Jokubaitis was selected 34th overall. I'm not sure I see Jokubaitis as much better for in NBA than Marciulionis ATM. To me their on the same tier and Marciulionis can play way more defence.

Jakucionis in last month providing only his B+ game at best, bet one thing is for certain, dude has ball and is a leader. Imagine 18yo coming to the team where 16k attend to support each game, absolutely crowded arena and you are set to be the guy, the leader. Go lead us brother. And Jakucionis as a freshman just has been doing exactly this. Big clutch three to close the game. I think now he hit a rookie wall physically and mentally a little bit, it's really hard to sustain such role at such young age with so many pressure, but he's holding on there and I think will appreciate the brake very much after March Madness.

Jokubaitis is 24yo and he already played 7 seasons in EL. He will beat records at the end of career for sure. Interesting what's the next steps for him. He should come back to some kind of contender inevitably. I think another season in Maccabi would be good for him and then he should try to be a starter for contending team.
