Sunday, 27.february was held annual LBL All Star game between East and West teams in Jelgava Zemgale olimpic center. East won game by 6 points 100:94 (23:19; 18:28; 25:18; 24:19). Each quarter was 8 minutes long. Games MVP was East's Derek Williams (191-G/F) 20 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists.
In the Sportland three-point shooting contests final won Sandis Bets (192-G-92) (Ogre)- 14 points, who beat Mikus Sokolovs (Gulbenes buki) - 11 points. in the womens final Agate Geka (169-G-93) (TTT juniores) won with 18 points, second was Liene Neimane (TTT juniores) with 9 points in the final.
Sportland Slam dunk contest winner was Kristaps Dargais (195-G-90) (Ogre), second Zanis Peiners (LU). In semi-final also some good performence was by Janis Timma (BAA Riga) and Nelyubov Ivans (VEF jrs).
In the coaches contests first round nobody can make shot from midcourt, in the second round Varis Krumins (BK Zemgale) made 3pointshot and won this contest.
Cheerleading contest winners was BK Ventspils cheerleaders, while second was BK Liepajas lauvas chearleaders and also other squads have great performances- BK Valmiera, LU, VEF Riga jrs and Turiba cheerleaders.

VEF Riga won the Finals over Ventspils 4-1 after an easy win in Game 5. The winner of the Regular Season clinched the 2011/2012 title.
VEF Riga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They started with 28-14 and never looked behind in the game. Moreover after 24-17 surge in the second frame the hosts reached 52:31 advantage at the halftime. VEF Riga also won the third and the last quarters to triumph not only in the game but in the Finals.
They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. 28 personal fouls committed by Ventspils helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international forward Gatis Gatis Jahovics (200-F-84) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 5 rebounds. Antanas Antanas Kavaliauskas (208-C-84, agency: Interperformances, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five VEF Riga players scored in double figures. Mamadi Mamadi Diane (196-G/F-86, college: Virginia) answered with 14 points and Martins Meiers added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ventspils.
