And if you want me to be realistic. Who know what will be in the future and no one can tell if we will make the dream or not and no matter what will happen we will at least have better basketball conditions than before with a PRO basketball MZT academy. Thats more importent than winning ABA or playing EL would just be a bonus.

Cedevita, Nis, voli and all that shit... Small balcan companys.. Samsonenko have market in a area of 300 milion people.. can buy whole Belgrade. If he wants to win ABA he will do it... BUt if he wants to use all his teams in Macedonia to do money laundering through his own betting company Betcity. Could be...

Who knows, but at least all object will stay that he builds..

Lol, I am probably the biggest Greek fan in whole of Macedonia. I follows greek basketball and football very close and iraklis my fav team.. + I have many Greek friends in Odessa and Thesalonika... Visit them often.. love greek music, greek food and here you go i have greek GF.. I can speak both slavic and hellenic Macedonian..

But ye, if you ask me whole of Macedonia region belong to hellenic and slavic Mcedonians not Athenians and I talk about this with my Greek hellenic mates like humans we talk... never anyproblems we respect eachother.. Thats said as a real hellenic Mascedonian I still respect the borders and would never do anything to change it..

hey, at least he slavs call themselfs Macedonians just like me I like it.. unlike the poeple in Thesalonika today call themselfs Greeks.

You have to understand that money in development is important but is also vastly overrated.

You have basically no history, no coaches, no school/methodology/approach to developing talents etc. Also you have no way to actually let them develop and play since your league is a total joke and if MZT will field a large budget team in ABA they will not play there either. You also have very, very limited local talent pool and the region is sooooo competitive. Do you think that you will be able to take away regional prospects from Serbian Big 2, Cedevita, Cibona etc??? Not a chance, regardless of the budget. Being a developer of talent, and all that is always nice to hear but is also the most difficult thing to do and clubs that fail it's 90% because of issue not related to money.

The most you can hope is that he will put in a lot of money into senior squad and you will get a lot of good players to play and compete for ABA title and then Eurocup games. That is realistic approach.

2 problems.. We have only 18 Basketball clubs in Macedonia very little.. Croatia as exampel have 80 clubs. We have less than 5000 registered basketball players.

Montenegro with 600K poople have 15.000 registered basketball players.

second. these 5000 in Macedonia also have very bad conditions no basketball academy no good youthe coachs, etc.. But that will change the russian will bring foreign youthe coachs to organize the school just as they did in football and handall 2 years ago...

I hope 50% of budget will be invested in the youthe school and just 50% senior team. EL is not more importent than produce talents... we are in big crisis now no more Stefanov, Naumoski, Ilievski, Antic, Bocevski, Gecevski, etc.. We need the academy to get started badly..

Of course with money results can be made fast just look at fotball Bate Borisov, Apoel, Ludgorets all have about 8 to 12 milion euro budget same as Vardar. Vardar are missing koif to get better drow but as soon they have more luck in the drow they will make it at least into EL europa liga groups.

Whats worry me is that he have to many balls in the air right now.

FK Vardar, RK Vardar, ZRK Vardar and add to it KK MZT Skopje that would be 4 sport teams + the Tennis club who need to be watched too.

He can not do all this byhimself. I am scered is to mauch and all could become a mess. People could steal money behind his back and also bring players with contacts, etc.

Think that 2 sport teams would be maximum. This starts to become a lot.

Inested of investing 35-40 milion euros per year all in all in 2 clubs, now in 4 clubs..

either this is the biggest money laundering in the sport history of balcan or the dude realy wants to develup the sport in Macedonia football, handball, basketball and tennis...

please have regard for country borders. fyrom is one country and Greece is another. Greece has a province called Macedonia for many years before fyrom existed. Thessaloniki is Greek and those that live there are Greek.

again I will ask that you leave politics and opinions concerning such subject to yourself or posted in a non basketball forum. the "jokes" are not funny and can be seen as an attempt to provoke others.
