I hope the bashing of other top prospects from the fanatics in order to put up Kai Sotto stops here. Chet and Wemby are top prospects for a reason. Kai is not just some unknown player GMs and other scouts don't know about. They're not blind. Coaches are not blind. From Tab, to Brian Shaw, to CJ to Kyle Milling and now the Magic's coach. All got bashed for not treating Kai like a superstar. SMH. Oh how embarrassing must be for Kai to see Orlando Magic's FB page brigaded by furious pinoy pride hypebeasts mad at the DNP. These clowns are yelling "Kai is just being used as marketing". What a laughable excuse. Same excuse they yelled at G-League Ignite, Adeleide, and Hiroshima.

I hope they realize that it's an insult to Kai to assume that they only signed him for marketing purposes.. Kai is actually talented but probably not as talented as the players getting most of the PT

KAI was informed that "rookies and contracted players" will have first dibs of the playing minutes especially in the first game of the Summer League.
Of course priority is signed players , and this year's draft entrants , that's already around 8 players easily

Before we forget what was said before today:

Im not here to diss Wemby and Chet but I'm stating my opinions on them. They are not better than Kai in their current state. Im still looking forward to Kai against Wemby/Chet. Tomorrow's game is full of uncertainty but to state that both Chet and Wemby are way better than Kai is full of hogwash.hahaha

Qoute all you want all you casuals.lol The f*ck we said it first when we said Wemby's handles isnt worth anything in the NBA setting. He will have no post presence in offense and he has been camping in the 3pt line. Wemby showing that his shooting has been really so underwhelming and he should convert to playing as a big eventually. His lack of strength and almost zero post skills would be his biggest roadblock in the post. He is just so damn lucky that he will have all the opportunities to improve even if he will have a hard time. Dami niyung walang alam sa bball pero sobrang opinionated. Wemby got lucky one 3 fell because the aim was helped by a foul.lol he shot 1/6 and his France season avg would really show that you don't bank on him jacking up 3s to save SA. Wemby doesnt know what to do if not for shooting jumpers. His dribble wont be useful unless he would know when to shoot and drive.

This is what I want to see from Kai - basic but useful moves.

Impressive defensive game from Zikarsky. He is reading opponent's moves before doing something. He is also doing the same exact thing Kai has been doing - drop defense, but Zikarsky is doing it better.

Now just imagine if a Pinoy AJ Edu was the player in the video, would all agree the player in the video (name and nationalism aside ) is a better prospect than Kai. ?
