Again Kai is GONNA get SIGNED. No arguments.

Yup.

He will be the tallest and most athletic water boy in Orlando Magic history.

After his stint in Australia and Japan, he is undoubtedly the best cheerleader and high fiver among the SL prospects. Nobody has given more high fives than Kai Sotto.

that piston summer league team is something, thompson, wiseman, ivey, duren, sasser if kai holds his own against wiseman and duren teams might become interested

Yes Bol played against NBA players.

If we magnify a little bit Sotto’s competition in the NBL and BLeague, he went up against grown men. Men who are 28 years and above. Men who literally are out of NBA radar and some past their prime years.

Tomorrow in the SL, he will go up against younger men. Stronger, faster, more athletic and high motor. I see from the SL rosters their ages ranges from 20 years to 27 years. That’s younger than what he faced in the NBL and washed up imports in the BLeague.

And then these SL teams have only 3-4 days of practices. The odds of Sotto getting solids minutes are unlikely because most likely Orlando will center their plays to their draftees and holdovers like Caleb Houstan and Kevon Harris

Sotto will most likely be a role player in the SL. He just needs to do his job which are rebound, rim protection, screens.

Not to mention desperate and hungry. For a lot of these prospects this is their chance to get a contract in the NBA or abroad unlike Kai who has the Bleague, PBA or showbiz to fallback on. They don't have any merchandise to sell or academy to promote.

Nobody is going to play defence tomorrow. SL games are glorified pickup games. Hell Josh Jackson and Anthony Bennett looked used to look like NBA players playing against kids

Let the bashing of the coach for underutilization and his teammates for not passing him the ball commence.

Orlando GM explains waiving Bol Bol; Reality check for Kai Sotto.

”Bol was a fan favorite. But it was also apparent that he was the odd man out after the Magic signed veteran forward Joe Ingles in free agency, then re-signed Mo Wagner and picked up Goga Bitzade’s team option.

The team’s roster exceeded the league limit of 15.”

”The 23-year-old Bol is ahead of Sotto in the NBA learning curve. If the Magic have no room for the versatile big man who was selected 44th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, how much more for an undrafted rookie”.

JUST TO BE CLEAR, Orlando GM DID NOT SAY THE FOLLOWING WORDS:

”The 23-year-old Bol is ahead of Sotto in the NBA learning curve. If the Magic have no room for the versatile big man who was selected 44th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, how much more for an undrafted rookie”.

Statement however is common accepted take by almost all in the industry, it's actually been manifested in the GMs decision making.

Thing is not being invited (camp/combine) , undtafted and left unsigned for a year is not a one of mistake by 1 GM, or much more as Peezones suggest a journalist opinion this is litterarally confirmation of what every GM thinks of Kai and Bol (was drafted and will be picked up by a team this summer )

A journalist's opinion really reflects the outlook of 30 GMs? NOTED, LMAO

Hahaha I'm sure Analyze and his peers are keenly watching Wemby's first SL game. I cant really see how Wemby and Chet are way better than Kai.lol Kai only needs the right coach and opportunities. Wemby trying to be Durant has been an eye sore. He needs to settle down and play like a big eventually. Bol is a way better KD impersonator.haha

Wemby's handles won't save him in the NBA. He is too slow to blow by any defenders and his dribble will be prone to steals in an NBA setting. He needs to realize how to use his height to his advantage instead of trying to be KD. His lack of post moves has been too glaring and he is shooting 1/7 or 14.3%. He is just lucky that SA will be too patient and will go all in on him.hahaha

Inaccurate description, accurate description is the journalist is simply reporting accurately the decisions of the 30 GMs (fact ), 30 GMs didn't combine invite, didn't draft and didn't sign Kai as a FA for 12 months (fact)
and Bol was drafted and signed (fact ). Nothing to argue with fact

This is probably going to be quoted to hell again

Qoute all you want all you casuals.lol The f*ck we said it first when we said Wemby's handles isnt worth anything in the NBA setting. He will have no post presence in offense and he has been camping in the 3pt line. Wemby showing that his shooting has been really so underwhelming and he should convert to playing as a big eventually. His lack of strength and almost zero post skills would be his biggest roadblock in the post. He is just so damn lucky that he will have all the opportunities to improve even if he will have a hard time. Dami niyung walang alam sa bball pero sobrang opinionated. Okay lang naman sana if opinionated but you respect others' opinions and take.

Wemby got lucky one 3 fell because the aim was helped by a foul.lol he shot 1/6 and his France season avg would really show that you don't bank on him jacking up 3s to save SA. Wemby doesnt know what to do if not for shooting jumpers. His dribble wont be useful unless he would know when to shoot and drive.

spurs or any nba franchise will be willing to wait for the likes of jokic, giannis, luka to develop. similar to wemby.

while sadly NO nba team wanted to draft and wait for kai to develop.

because nba general managers, coaches and scouts knows to assess the game changing talents like jokic, giannis, paolo, chet and wemby. heck that’s what they do for a living, finding, assessing and drafting prospects around the globe.

I've not worried whatsoever if Wemby isn't as good a scorer as expected, his impact without the ball and even as passer is just so huge (plus minus)

His presence alone makes the Spurs so much better on both ends

Remember the Spurs were last place in defense last year, Wemby defense alone makes them a mid level defensive team instantly
