The hihihi guy was astigram doing some ban evasion. Dude just doesn't want to leave the site.

Astigram doesn't have that tendency. He is mostly emotional and had the tendency to curse but won't stoop so low posting that way.

I don't know about that. I don't remember Astigram as being sarcastic. But I do know who he is, and he's still posting on a new account.

These days I have less appetite to argue because we can't really change their mind. It is not our fault that they can't see things and they can't assess on their own.haha It is obvious that Kai doesn't have issues with lateral and is very mobile for a big but they will keep insisting on it because they heard it from someone.haha

Me too. I'm tired of playing their pseudo-therapist trying to get them out of their coping mechanism.

Really? Creating a thread nominating additional moderators? All of that because of Kai Sotto?

Get a life dude.

Creating multiple troll accounts on IBN and various social media platforms just to malign and discredit someone is too pathetic. if you or your friends have issues with YouTubers, then why not create decent content so you will have the same opportunities as others?

People tend to be envious of others' achievements but they don't have the drive to grind in order to attain success. Instead of creating nonsense why not invest your time in doing productive things?

Kai's impact and development is too advanced at 20yrs old as compared to those undrafted who made a leap from NBL to NBA. Whatever are the agenda of ADL and Brutus for hampering to not fully showcase Kai will end soon.haha Kai will have the opportunity to showcase in the upcoming Summer league and also this world cup. Kai is the most efficient and most productive young star even with limited minutes. Kai also arguably has a way higher upside and his game could easily translate in the NBA. This season would have been Kai's breakout year.

I?m hoping Kai would play in NBL1 to hone his skills while waiting for that NBA summer league. I believe he would get chance to showcase his skills more and improved his redflags in NBL1. It was missed opportunity last year coz of his handlers?s poor decision making.

Another Gilas outing would be better. That means additional training in the US before Summer League, which imo is better than NBL1. Kai was routinely coasting throughout the NBL preseason so I don't think NBL1 will be of any additional help going forward.

Oh, Kai Sotto thread is back?

Anyway, All the best for Kai.

Summer League , SEA Games, and World Cup this year will be big for him. Development and Showcase wise.

I think Adelaide will exercise team option on Kai this next 2023-2024 season. Hopefully, Kai will be both a starter and finisher (4th quarter mins) at that point.

What kind of training? NFL-style of training again? Kai needs to have continuous 5x5 competition (given the an ample rest, of course). Hopefully his goal is to improve those red flags in nbl1 wether he?ll be role player or not.

I’m worried that fans will have heavy expectations on that summer league to have kai produced double double every game.

Drew League. Strength training. Effective use of force. All that to prepare him for SL, which hopefully we'll see a better Kai than this one (and the current one is already pretty good).

Fans are gonna say what they wanna say. I'll just defer to Dwight Howard and what he said about unreal expectations.

Can't expect double digit rebounding with limited PT.

This NBL1 or NBL in New Zealand will be a good training ground for Kai.

If his agency is more creative, he could land a spot in Puerto Rico's BSN which will start next month.

I think Kai would rather focus on Gilas this coming summer... This is very important year for Philippine basketball... He will have a bigger role as starting center, facing against elite bigs around the world and last hurrah if he can get an invitation in NBA (even as 2 way contract or 10 day)... I heard Gilas will start training right after SEAG.. Then stay for Gilas is a must move for Kai for now... Any other gigs will not help on his cause because very important for Gilas is the cohesion and chemistry for upcoming FIBA WC this summer....

I don't think the Drew league is a good choice for a big man like him to join. Yeah competitive 5x5 games where he could get a lot of PT should be his priority

Then play for Gilas PH is the right path for him for now... Especially they will start their training right after SEAG... Kai should not do other gigs aside from Gilas this year... He is the most important pieces for PH team this summer... w/o him (even on training camps for Gilas), The team preparation will be halted by a bit....

As selfish as it may sound if he finds a better deal out there he should jump on it. He's only young once. While we honestly won't go anywhere without him, our program is a bit of a mess. Heck the PBA which we'll source 80% of our players doesn't really give a F@ck. I don't think it'll look good on his scouting report if we performed like we did last 2019 WC.

This also a good video, i think it almost shows all of Kai's playing time (not just highlights)

Kai is really running more natural, he seem getting stronger - I think no one in Cairns is much stronger than Kai - on this particular game at least...

-The time he playing, he made Taipans aware of his inside game
-He decently depended pull-ups coming from ball screens
-Multiple times he the first when they running fastbreaks

I said Drew League after Gilas. Kai should be getting 20 mins PT on Gilas. Then Drew League to acclimate him to NBA talent, a higher level than NBL1.

If only Kai was not hampered by fouls during that game, it would have been a great game against Wady. Kai had the better of the match-up head-to-head. Also, Kai obviously didn't have issues with his laterals and the only issue was the refs were trigger-happy calling fouls on Kai.haha

Sadly it's what happened this game too. Refs are now calling everything on Kai when he started being aggressive in general.
