per the dragonflies' webpage yesterday was their first game back from the bleague break, so chances are that was footage of his old games being labeled as "new".
besides, he wasn't even in the lineup for yesterday's game

the guy said he played good on THAT game and it was not the game today.. said to him and funny enough he posted this in his video “kai impressed everybody in his comeback”

That's why I report these pages even though my efforts are futile anyway. These fake hype videos are cancer to Basketball tbh. especially when gullible kababayans will eat it up without knowing any context hays.

I also wonder if those practice videos with the team are old stock footage too.So the way it sounds like he won't have a full season,probably just play half.

He needs the reps,he's not gonna get that in practice no matter how many uncontested baskets he makes,he needs to face real opposition.

I don't know, I'm not too Kai fanatic like others, I know his limitations... But he is very important to Gilas campaign... w/o him, chances of Gilas are slim to none, you can't give that responsibility to Junmar or any other local bigs outside Kai....

With Edu's seeming injury and Kai's own health and stamina problems, I think we need Kouame more than ever as NP. We wouldn't have won without him. Junemar is just a situational player now as he becomes target practice for better teams.

Better develop other big man such as Geo Chiu or any bigs available… don’t always rely on Ange… he is also injury prone guy too…

Remember, Legends are made, not born... Jordan didn't born became a superstar, He work hard for that... Now, name young big man that Philippines can develop and use for international competitions aside from Edu, Kai or Junmar? There are many young tall prospects in the Philippines.. The problem is the country as a whole are not patience to train them to be serviceable... Don't waste naturalized slot for a position that we already have... Don't be fool boy!!!! Maybe you are 6'10 above, we can tap your services...

Sorry. None of our 6’10 and up guys are really guys that we can depend on. We can depend on Edu but we need to accept that we need another rim protector to lighten his load and offset the risk of injury. Kai was not as injury prone but is more fit as an off the bench guy with his skills and stamina. Lets just forget about Junemar. He is also better off the bench and no more than 20 minutes or less.
Who else you got? Chiu? He is a decent defender but he is soft. He regularly falls against 6’4 guys. I will put him in the pool. But if he is going to play a lot of minutes were dead.
The rest of our bigs are not really centers. Carl, Balti, KQ. Arana. Even include Pablo and Gagate.
Fact is we might not even have won bronze if Kouame wasnt there. At this point I think there is a chance we would have perform better with Kouame instead of JC. With Kouame, its like we have a slightly taller and stronger Edu. No more Junemar minutes. We wouldnt need to score much because our opponents wont be able to score much. There is a reason that oir best performance was with a center NP. Sorry Edu and Kai need help. And I wouldnt play Junemar if I have an alternative.

Remember, He is also awful for the most parts in his Asian Games stint before he bounce back in the last 2 games... The reason why developmental team (For national team setting is Teams B,C etc..) is very vital and important... Look at Iran or even India trusting their local bigs despite basketball is not a popular sport there... They will not reach their ceiling if they will be not trusted... Are we need Ange vs Hong Kong? Do you think? That is the time put the likes of Chiu or other young bigs vs HK... It should be balance between winning and development of certain players...

At this point Kai's minutes also depends on match ups. He was almost unplayable last WC. At least with Junemar you know you're getting rebounding and post scoring. Kai cannot do those with consistency and unless something drastic happens those are probably his main weaknesses aside from defense ( occasional blocks and alley oops are nice though) Edu might be our best big but he's very injury prone. Kouame will be taking an NP spot which is not ideal. If we play any other Cs aside from those guys and a new NP we are in trouble .

Its not that AK looks bad until the last 2 games in Asian Games,its just he doesn't fit in Tim's system in some games but when Tim had to adjust his plays for AK he delivered as always.Heck even in SEA GAMES they should send the young guns,like 25 and under,win or lose the experience of playing outside of the Philippines is a winning experience the players.
