Kai camp need to show his MRI result if he is really injured and need more time to rest then so be it give him time to heal, you dont want to aggravate anything he is still important piece in our team,. parks, pogoy, oftana and now thompsom are also missed alot of time due to injuries.
But if his healty and just being primadonna just drop him simple as that.

i don't know but that the kid needs to stop it. i know that i don't have the right to say that to him. i just what to express what i see on him. he is not an NBA caliber and he cannot even play better in the B.League (got always outmuscled by 6'6-6'8 world imports).

Kai and his family's irrational fixation on the NBA and making money seems to be biting them in the butt. If the injury is real then it could've only been from over training for the summer league. With his meager play I don't think it was worth it especially if it will cost him WC participation. Kai has been decent in Fiba competition. If he and his family were only realistic and focused on actual development and not just hype moves he would've actually had visible improvements by now.
An aside though. Kai and his family might have been spooked how the Toledo Rockets failed Edu. If you watched his rookie game and followed his stats, the team were just focused on making Edu a throwback center. Rebounds, blocks and only paint touches. No perimeter touches. The kid's block work rate was phenomenal. He jumped everytime for blocks until he popped his knee. He was a much better player at 18 than what he is now. On hindsight, he should've applied for a Euro training or a school were they had a say on his direction. You could see that Edu's body is for a finesse big. His body was not made for throwing down low. Edu is unfortunately a lesson that not all NCAA schools will be good for career development.
It reminds me of Curry's statement that he would likely not learned his off the ball movement if he played for a Div 1 school. He learned his off the ball movement and shooting from Davidson. If he were in a Div 1 school he would've played off the bench on a ball centric role.

meh, unless the games start and Kai isnt in the roster, im not biting on any of these news. pakulo lng yan. i wont be surprised if they kiss and make up just in time for the games. if Kai doesnt show up during WC, then legit issue. doesnt matter at that point because he isnt part of the team. i wonder if fans would still support him though if he isnt really injured? or it doesnt matter what he wants as a person because he didnt do what the fans wants him to?

So the real score is that the SBP are not buying Sotto’s lower back issue because
1. Sotto’s camp lied about his back being checked in the US
2. They have not provided an MRI copy to the SBP
3. That the SBP doctors checked Sotto’s back and that they
did not find anything wrong functionally and structurally

it just shows that the current HC and management doesn't command high respect on some players whom we think deserves to be in the final 12. Be it real or not(those reported injuries) players like Kai, Carl, Justine and JH are the one's we really need for this tournament it's just that aches and pains here and there suddenly keeps on popping when we enter the critical stages of the tournament..hay naku ang buhay nga naman parang life.

wasn't he also present at one of the asiabasket games at the villar coliseum, a coliseum that has seats with low backrests? seats with little to now backrests, i assume, are not ideal for those who have back problems.
