i am very sorry for disturbance...just wanted to ask a question for clarification. Does Caspi or Jasaitis play in Ironi Nahariya ? i am confused.....
No, but Klanvin writes about Caspi everywhere... Even after his less than good performance...

Jasaitis shoots, that is what he does....but if you hate him, i understand...i used to do as well, nonetheless he was very important for my team.
He is very good player, but his salary is a bit buffed up - thanks to Pini Gershon's dirty trick last summer....

Oh and talking of Nahariya - they had good game (thanks for J-m non-existent defense):)

Elite level professional athletes are difficult people to deal within their profession. Competative people are selfish and selfish people are difficult. That doesn't mean that Parker and Niko wouldn't be good fishing buddies

Having met quite a few elite athletes, I have to say you are talking out of your ass. While there are plenty that are, there are plenty that aren't. You are just talking outta your ass again...

What's your qualifications?

If you want to see non-existent defense watch the nba regular season.

B-shit:) And too wide and unbased generalization...

Are you actually arguing that the nba is dedicated to defense in the nba regular season. Look at Dallas a 67 win team that couldn't get passed the first round.

Actually, there are plenty of teams in the NBA that are good defensive teams. Some of the best in the world. However, in international ball, teams defend better as teams, in the NBA, due to style, size of court and average athletic ability, defense if more man-on-man. Individually, most of the best defensive players are in the NBA, but the defensive systems aren't always caught up to them.

Ben Wallace and Bruce Bowen are defensive superstars but with the larger court, favorable officiating for the offense and too long and hectic regular season most players can't physically dedicate themselves to even average defense regularily.

Ironi beat Hapoel and Bnei convincingly consecutively maybe they are the second best team in the PL.

I love how you paint a broad brush over everyone of your opionions. While you make good points, it is from team to team and player to player, and of course which coach is running the show.

So, Galil beats Nahariya in Nahariya and is on it's way to earn the right to be blown out in the semis by Maccabi.
Yogev Ohayon with a career game in just the right time.
Casspi was solid too, mostly shooting 3-pointers, but I'd really like to see him driving more to the basket.

He misses layups he should make. The only way Galil is going to beat Maccabi is too out score Maccabi. If Caspi wants to leave no doubt for the maccabi management that he's better than boytoy. He's going to have to use his superior speed and agility and make boytoy chase him to the basket by running through him.

If you mean that in order to win you need to score more than opponent, that's right... But I guess we would not know that, if you wouldn't opened our eyes, would we?

And if you meant that Galil should outrun and outgun Maccabi - that's complete B-shit.. Nobody outguns Maccabi - not in PL and not even in EL...

Omri Caspi is the next step of evolution. He's bigger, stronger, faster and more agile. If he performs to his gifted abilities he will dominate.

Next step of evolution? You read too much SF or you forgot to take your medications again....?
Even MJ wasn't next step, so Caspi for sure isn't...

At 19 the guy is making clutch shots, winning and scoring against triple teams of grown men. Please explain to me why he can do that if he's just an average athlete.

First of all, he's barely 18. And second of all he's really average young talent, nothing special - Oded Kattache and Doron Sheffer were better at that age... And you are off topic...

At 18 or 19 Caspi lead Galil to beat Maccabi and had dominate showing against America's best High School Player Michael Beasley. He's far from an average talent and Kattish himself said the Caspi is better than he was.

Had dominate? And stop misspelling Kattache.
And those were Simmons and Mosinson who won Maccabi few months ago (they also lost after that, and will again - in F4)...
Back to the topic - Nahariya is barely fifth team in PL for now. I think they actually glad for that - they are not going to be blasted by Maccabi next week...
