Yao, Yi Jianlian, Wang Zhizhi, Hamed haddadi, Mahdi Kamrani, Samad Nikkhah, Jackson Vroman, Fadi Khatib, Matt Freiji, Rashim Wright, Zeid Abbas, and you can choose some shooters from RP, Korea and Chinese Taipei and an additional PG maybe from one of them or maybe one of these 2 Sam Daglas or Ali Mahmoud they both can be really effective.... so I guess our all star team is better as for one by one teams hmmm it's hard to judge since African teams have new rosters this year and yet we might have a new crowned champion

Ali mahmoud, sam daglus and kamrani are the best PGs in asia....

Lebanon is not in the level of China, Iran and Jordan. I am 100% sure they will not enter the FIBA World Championship even if they are using American imports.

Just calling like it is. We Americans like to see other countries do well in basketball. And its fun to see others improve, but not on the expense of cheating. And its not just me calling this out, but some African countries, they are resorting to purchasing Americans because they can't compete.

So until there are changes, the only respectable Asian countries should be the likes of China, Iran, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka. Countries that play fair and square, and not shameful enough to use another countries players and pretend its their own.

If he's American or supports America, then that statement to begin with would have never been true.

The way the imports dominate only demonstrate how much the rest of the team (and Asia) that are domestic have to improve. Eventually the level of play of domestic players will decline due to the dependence on imports and what then? Become the next Qatar and have literally a full roster of non-domestic players?

Offtopic tunisia has advanced to the semis at fiba africa, just been wondering how our teams top 4 in asia match with the top 4 in africa??that would be interesting if they make a small champion ship between the top 4 from each zone a year after each fiba championship this would improve the game in both Asia and africa.

China with Yao Ming always beat those African teams easily(except in 2002 when China suffered from the new blood transition)....

Lebanon is strong,and is a basketball favor country who can produce domestic good players like Khatib.They can at least challenge for the top 4 without americans..

But Jordan?I seriously think if not for nationalized ones,the likes of PHI is better than them...And damn,it's a county where basketball is not popular .....

BTW:it doesn't make you feel good when you hear the players use English instead of Arabic to communicate on the court....

Fiba made the rules, and by those rules we are playing..if any one is having issues they can freely complain to FIBA, jordan has 1 american player,lebanon has 1 american player. the rest are all locals so stop this nonsense and to this american dude ,didnt russia naturalize Holden?
or didnt germany naturalize kaman ,didnt turkey naturalize ilyasova from azerbaijan? and those are top european countries that dont need this step and they can easily win any game against the top asian teams with 30+ pts minimum including china! as for africa i wont comment cuz i dont care its not my concern i care about asia.OH before i forget Didnt THE ALL MIGHTY USA naturalize hakeem olajuwon??
