Looks like if he would've played in Turkey and do his game he might get an invite to the Euro or NBA earlier than today...But nevertheless better late than never for Samad and good tournament for Iran despite the chemistry issues brewing the team..

Kazemi has signed a contract with Chongqing Dragon club in CBA.

I have a feeling that the team's chemistry was overall okay, it just appears that there was some issues between Kazemi and the coaching staff, beside that, there wasn't much drama surrounding the team, at least that's how it appeared from outside.
Samad Nikkhah played in France for two different teams for a season and a half right after the 2008 Olympics, but he wasn't given substantial playing minutes and decided to leave. As you said he also got unlucky with the injury in 2010 Turkey.

Actually he didn't play for Cholet at all, they released him when they found out they can't use him in European games because of passport issue. he is a leader and probably can't play another role in the team, I think that was his main problem in Pau-Orthez.

I hope he goes and plays in NBA but I think it's a little unlikely considering his age and his size. but who knows. this didn't come from Iranian media (which usually publish nonsense) looks like a reliable source.

you're right Mohsen, thanks for the clarification. I just remember he didn't spend much of the second season there, that's why I said a season and a half, my memory was fuzzy on the details:).

This is a bit surprising and disappointing. Good luck getting to the NBA for him now. China is not the type of league he needs to be playing in to be the kind of player the Sixers need him to be.
