I'm not sure, but you could be right. Maybe the loss of camera spots would mean that the remaining camera spots pricing could go up as the NBA would offset quantity through price adjustments.

Yeah that makes sense. Player safety should be top priority of course.

It's about time. It's been getting ridiculous. That cost Jason Richardson his season two years ago, too.

Indiana is the team I can't wait to watch this year other than my Sixers and a handful of others. It's easy to watch the teams that are set and have no real questionmarks but it's much more fun to me personally to watch teams with situations like this where there is a real opportunity for players to step up. Rodney Stuckey has a chance to really resurrect his career this year and show why he was seen as a rising star before his fainting woes and then benching. CJ Miles has the opportunity to get the most minutes and biggest opportunity since he was in Utah, and everybody will get more minutes than they would with Paul George there. Even Chris Singleton could resurrect his career if he can work and play his way into decent minutes considering his size, athleticism, and defensive ability. The Pacers still have Roy Hibbert and David West, and they have added some guys who are good shooters. I would expect to see Stuckey and Miles fight it out for the starting 2 guard spot and Miles, Solomon Hill, and maybe Chris Copeland fight it out for the starting 3 spot.

If neither player works out, I could see Indiana trading for a guy like OJ Mayo, Jordan Crawford, etc. Mayo's contract isn't great but Indiana would be the perfect situation for him to re-establish himself as a 20ppg scorer and major player so if they don't want to keep him they could easily flip him to a team who buys into the numbers he would put up in Indiana. Crawford isn't quite on OJ's level but he'd be cheap, will most likely not see a lot of opportunities this year, and he's shown with Boston that he can score and really play well when given the chance. Either way, it should be interesting to see what happens this season.

Let's remember that as great as Paul George can be, he's a double-edged sword who has been called out as selfish by his own teammates. They might not have his offense this year but they'll be a much more balanced team and they've brought in two guys who in the past have showed that know how to score.

Paul George walking w/out crutches on media day.

Pacers will not have George Hill and David West for opening week due to their respective injuries. Even top reserve CJ Watson is out. That will force Vogel to start four new starters alongside Hibbert.

Should be a very interesting game. Both the Sixers and Pacers are two completely different teams from last year. There are a ton of unknowns.

This is the Rodney Stuckey that the Pacers traded for. When the back-court of Hill and Miles were shooting blanks, Stuckey was instant offense and created a mismatch against Curry. Bench played well despite being short handed. Pacers upset the Warriors.

Paul George finished his first full practice on the court and now him playing this year is more likely now. Great to see him coming back from that horrible freak accident.

It is good that Indiana has discovered and re-affirmed their defensive identity. Much of their fall from last year and this season was them believing that they are an exciting up and down offensive team. Paul George's absence took time for them to realize that there was no sense in trying to stand boot to boot with offensive teams. For the past 9 games, defense has been good to warrant league attention.

I'm also very pleased that the REAL Rodney Stuckey has shown up. This is the chance that he was looking for and he is delivering.

Great seeing Paul George back. He gets an amazing ovation from the home crowd. It is a great story out of a depressing season for the Pacers. George and Stuckey will be a force next season.

Pacers signed Monta Ellis to a four year contract worth $44 million.

Pacers looked a lot better defensively when Mahinmi was plugged in, although the offense was smoother and more receptive to the ball close out scenarios when the younger and more athletic Turner was plugged. Pacer front-court is norming a situational rotation with Jordan Hill playing C/PF and Buddinger becoming PF.

For the past three games, Paul George is on a hot streak. Tonight, 40 points versus the Wizards. PG at his finest.

Congrats to Paul George, player of the month for November in the east. He has adjusted in playing SF and PF after his struggles early. Adjustment was the mindset where it's pretty much the same when he was playing SF except, he no longer waits on the wings for a feed, now he rotates to his optimised floor slice according to TS%-charts.

With the Pacers basically publicly talking about trading Paul George at this point, one has to wonder who they'll build around now? Sure Myles Turner is a beast but what else do they have? They have Thad Young, GRIII, and a bunch of guards, basically. Lance could potentially play the three but that's about it. TJ Leaf was a major reach so they better bring in some players via trade and free agency. Do they get back Chandler in a trade? Is that even enough? Who realistically scores on this team other than the guards, Turner, and Thad? That's extremely unbalanced.

Definitely a team to watch this offseason. Especially if say Phoenix makes TJ Warren available.

This is the role Lance was born to play. This is clearly his team along with Collison, Thad, and Myles Turner as the longest tenured current Pacers, and he has the freedom to either utilize his unstoppable penetration ability to score or have the ball in his hands to playmake.

Oladipo was unbelievable tonight. Granted, we didn't really guard him like we should've but he absolutely torched us. Kid is playing at an All-Star level.

What a unlucky end of the season for Indiana. Not only because they lost Dipo, but because of the conference ladder as well. Even if Indiana would grab third place, they would meat Boston :) So you play well all season long and you get Boston in the first round... I believe Indiana would handle Pistons, Nets and Magic (as well as Heat), but the East is pretty crazy this season, 5 (Indie with Dipo) very strong teams. I somehow think Boston might even be the most talented team now in the east with Gordon Hayward suddenly playing big. IF Hayward now is read to be 18-20 pts player in the PO, Boston has the most scoring power in the East, IMO. So unlucky Pacers, now they only fight for the home court advantage against Celtics and badly lost recent game against Boston with Bogdanovic struggling. 4:2 Boston would be my prediction.
