This topic is a departure from basketball. Since the Winter Games have started, I've been finding it hard to follow the competitions. I've always preferred the Summer Olympics over Winter, but my interest is especially low this time around. Other than the men's ice hockey, snowboarding and bobsleding, I don't really have an interest in watching anything else.

Yes. Hockey, curling, speedskating, and bobsledding for me. For some reason I find the alpine skiing events boring but the nordic ones are pretty good.

I follow Hockey, speed skating, and a few of the snowboarding events but that's about it.

Yesterday with Von, White, and Davis was awesome. But tonight's figure skating so I won't be watching.

i just watched Curling event the other day. Despite it not being a sport, i think the ladies were beautiful (obviously, i wasn't watching the "curling" part of the sport just the players)

The only winter sport that I can actually sit down and watch it in its entirety is the Biathlon.
I just think it's uniqueness is what draws me to watch it.

Ski jumping and hockey for me... But, time table is problem because of huge gap between time zones. I only watched (6am here) Czech Republic vs Slovakia, great game, Jaromir is legend!

Sometimes I even love to watch figure skating when I catch it on TV.

I turned on the TV and watched the Olympics a little. Truthfully, I don't like any of the winter sports that much. The problem with the Winter Olympics is that in almost every sport, you just watch a bunch of people compete individually, and then at the end, they announce who had the best score. I wish they would have the ski people race together or something.

I also dislike the style point sports, like figure skating and snowboarding.

I would love hockey, I think, but I didn't grow up with it and I can never see where the puck is.

The only sport I can't watch is figure skating...I'm watching everything else though. US mens hockey team looks but the mens curling team blows (well just hte sikp really, John Shuster) but hey we won without him yesterday

Hockey, Speed Skating and the 3 sledding sports (bobsled, luge and skeleton) are my favourites. Curling is on the other side, absolutely boring...

Very interesting match between Russia and Czech Republic... Beautiful goal by Malkin. Result is at the moment 3-1 for Russia, which have maybe the best team, beside Canada. Maybe it's time for them to do something significant.

Edit:
Match finished, 4-2 for Russia... Czechs made an effort in the last couple of minutes and made the game very interesting, could even tie in the end, but Datsyuk sealed the victory for Russia with an empty-netter in the last seconds.

tried watching them but i just dont have the interest. maybe bobsled and some event that involves sexy images:D

maybe the reason being is the availability of these winter games in the place i grew up. not even a tv coverage can stimulate the interest if you do have different weather. you dont expect much of these in a tropical part of the planet.

some can pretend they knew the game just to participate in a discussion.

USA beat Canada in a great game. Hockey's pretty much the only event left that has my interest.

Very interesting win for USA, didn't expect that really... Congrats to USA!
The game was televised late last night, so I couldn't watch it, so I really can't tell what was going on with Canadian stars. I think it will be very tough for them now...
