In all, your team is stronger, but in one match Latvia can punished yuo.And I would not have been surprised, because yuo not have players to stopping Porzingis.

Or Turkey. Especially now Furkan Korkmaz is playing very well, the only missing part is that Sinan Guler's performance.

With all due respect, I do not think so, because F.Korkmaz is still far from D.Bertrans, and in particular with K.Porzingis at the player level.

The thing is, Turkey never had a superstar, even in 2010 we only had Türkoğlu who wasn`t even one of the top 5 player in the tournament. Despite the lack of success the best quality of Turkish national teams is to fight untill the end and never let go easy. They play as a team and they only fail when one player tries to play hero ball. Individual performance from Korkmaz is good but he is not even a starter in the team. The most important player in the team right now is Cedi and that is just because he doesn`t have a real back up. He`ll average more than 30 minutes and will play major roles both in defense and offense.

If we fail to pass the group stage that would be the biggest surprise I`ve ever seen. We`re good in front of our own audience. With all the absence I think we can fight for the first spot but I wouldn`t be surprised to fall back to the 4th. However, we will get out of the group.

I just see the game between Latvia and Lithuania (though played in Riga but still), not only Porzingis and Davis but their team play is not bad at all, you may be right on this.

I was counting on the home court advantage too, not only to the team. We can fill the gap with it. We've players like Dixon and Guler, this type of players can perform better in the home.

I wish success in the first place in the group, of course a team game and a good athletic anger, is a big force, but I think Serbia and Latvia are now stronger teams, so I really think that there will be a fight for 3rd place with Russia.

I agree that is the realistic option. What I`m saying a higher position wouldn`t be a big surprise

The history shows that Turkey really helps the game at home, even when judges of the match make gross mistakes like the WC -2010 semi-finals with Serbia. I have nothing against Turkey, but Latvia has collected almost all of its best players this year, so I do not see what sensation here if the group will be the first to beat Serbia, and this may be a real boom for medals in good conditions.
Friendly match Latvia - Lithuania their result means little that the coaches are solving other problems and the game goes without special defense in fear of getting trauma before the championship, example France - Lithuania, France wins 21 points and after three days Lithuania - France Lithuania wins by 25 points.
