I'm never calm whenever someone proclaims Slovenia as a clear favourite (no need to guess why)

relax, guys it's basketball. Slovenia might have some advantages, but there is no such thing as clear favourites...

...and if there is any team that should so far be proclaimed as a favourite for the group... that's Turkey, no matter that their first PG is actually Ender Arslan...

Expecting great performance from big trio for Poland.

Ermm not from the Gortat - Lampe and Logan. They can`t beat Slovenia with this players. If basketball gods from olympus ( i mean greek loby ) and referee trio is on Polish side they can beat them and make the bottom of the group like hell.

nope mate, our first PG is Kerem Tunceri. Just because he contributes unexpectedly more than Tunceri in terms of scoring, doesn't mean he is the first pg. Moreover, the minutes he was given in the last quarter of Spain game can be misleading, because Tanjevic didn't want to change the formation on defense that he was obvioulsy pleased with. Lastly a reminder: Turkoglu and Asık didn't play majority of 4th quarter along with Tunceri.

edit: oops, forgot my prediction about the game:) Slovenia 10+

Polish team needs some kind of miracle here, Slovenia just seems too good and too deep...

The miracle has arrived. Dragič's injury. Who will guard Logan now?

so i expect some help from referees,
why so many people talkin' about help from referees? When they play with Liths referees allow to 'make a lot' during full court defence (not like with Turkey-Lithuania, when any try to make press finished with referees' calls...)
I dont want to tell about Pol-Tur 'cause it was blowout but during Pol-Ser referees didnt call some unsportsmanlike fouls during fastbreaks. When anyone of you watch next game (Lithuania-Slovenia) could see couple of calls when Slovenians started they fastbreaks stopped by fouls...
I dont want to tell that referees f*ck Poles but home team has NO 'referee's advantage)

Yea right, a SF/PF defending Logan... I think Samo Udrih and Jaka Klobučar will put some serious pressure on him. Domen Lorbek won't be able to contain him.

I am joking of course, did u think oposit? :D

10000 supporters in the arena? They realy dont know how to root, all they do is make a loud untenable noise, which can be just as bad for their players if not even worst than for ours.
I'm not sure. Polish supporters are specific :) Not so weird (in possitve meaning of this word) like Balkans but also other than fans form west Europe.
Their identification mark is amaizing loud (including whistling, bugles ect.) (it also easy to see druing games of volleyball polish NT ) and i think that polish guys understand this kind of support.
Some of them also played in AdriaticLeague, Spain, EuroCups games in Greece, Turkey and also polish PO finals where also is realy noise...

and sth else
what with Lakovic's ankle?

Actually Lakovic is the only real point guard left...I supose that all teams now will force monster pressure on Lakovic...

In one of interviews Marcin Gortat said that Polish playbook for Serbia had plenty of bugs (f.ex. there were nothing about Serbians performance/ability behind the arc!! ect)
Maybe someone make mistakes also for this game and Poles won't hear about Dragic's absence before warm-up
:D

I personally except from Samo Udrih to take his opportunity and show a great performance.

Serbia is very young team...When we had +16 Milos Teodosic has lost his head...Typical for young teams...On the other side Slovenia depends a lot from their starters...I expect that most of them will play 30+ mins in the rest of tournament...Also Lakovic wont score much today if Polish team makes big pressure...He is much dangerous from 2nd plan...Dragic means a lot for this team...If he doesnt recover soon I highly doubt that Slovenia can win the medal...

Dammit now Dragič has to rest for 2 games, and it looks like Smodiš is totally out.

Damn, Dragič is a must since i don't have much faith in Klobučar/Udrih...

With knee injuries you never know...I highly doubt that if he has some knee injury that he will miss only two matches...They just dont want to spread the panic...

Poland is in a "must- win" situation, they will "bite" on a court, but still I prefer Slovenia to win.

Do-or-die game will be with :) ... Spain
I think that Slovenia (playing with or without Dragic) can win with Turkey on Wednesday when Turks will be sure about their 1st spot before QF.
