Group F, Day 2: LEBANON vs. CHINA

Can't you argue that, had the game been called a bit looser and there wasn't a foul every 5 seconds, and if China was on their game, they'd trump Lebanon even worse? If Yi Jianlian or Wang Zhizhi was hitting their turnarounds and China guards weren't being douches the lead would have been bigger? NEITHER team performed up to their standards, need to start looking at things from both perspectives.

Liu Wei is still a cancer to the team, how about handing the ball literally into the hands of the Lebanon defender in the last couple seconds? Jesus...Plus Lebanon was incredibly physical in the paint and will expect nothing less against the Jordan game. CNT has to get their fucking heads out of their goddamn asses and play up to their level

No..indeed Fadi tonight is Lebanon's black hole...Their performance are much better after he's out.
 
Too bad for Lebanon I was cheering for them to win. I definitely predict China will be a different team in the semis. They just didn't know the capability of this Lebanon team and might have been caught by surprise.

we needed a replacement for him and he is clearly Brian Beshara who is injured and will miss the tournament for 2 days.

The reason behind the Chinese bad shooting is the great defense from Lebanon's side,they weren't even able to shoot,big credits to our defense ;)
 
well this is just to show a way how lebanon can play..
but for the sake of the team Raca needs to realize that his biggest weakness ir Khatib here...
everytime he was on the floor China would make a run..
same was against Jordan the only problem then was that vroman and freije basicly never played together before..
now they showed they can play together..
they need someone from the guards position to step up and hit some outside shots with two of them creating problems for the opposition inside at the same time..
Fahed needs to be that guys..
and the most important thing, Raca needs to stop playing Khatib just because he was their best player before.. he is not anymore, not in this form anyway..
as soon as he realise that he needs to use Khatib for few minutes per quarter instead of playing him the whole time (before he gets too many fouls)..
I honestly think Lebanon could have won this game if Khatib didn't play so many minutes..

man dont worry.Take this from me.Although as an arabian i wish Jordan wins, i think they cant do 30 % of what lebanon did today.This performance is way beyond Jordan's capabilities.So what can we say congrats, but dont worry see in the semi's
 
china and leb should not play in the semi final since they are easily the best 2teams in the tournament if qatar wins jordan by more than 3 or jordan beats china 2morrow than we can avoid them in the semis and we can play our usual china-leb final hopefully 1 of these scenarios happens .....leb can still be out of the 2nd round if qatar wins now and kazakhaztan beats us 2morrow but the chance of kazakhaztan beating us is less fadi el khatib missing an open lay up hahaha :p just kidding leb will beat kazakhaztan by atleast 20 , im actually cheering for qatar to win now cuz i would rather be 4th than 3rd ..i think we are a better team than iran and i would love to play them in an elimination game .....if jordans win now than maybe they can do leb a big favor by beating china 2morrow also but i dont think jordan can do that and it wouldnt be in their favor if they did cuz i think they would rather play iran than leb in the semis .....
 
Great game, was a lot more exciting to watch than those blowout games. Lebanon lost it because of Fadi. Zhu Fangyu bailed China out in the end. Them two used to be top 2 SF in Asia. Now, Fadi is fat and slow, Zhu is plagued with injury.

hey man u cant talk like that about our captain, yes he performed awfully today.But the thing which u dont know is that Fadi didnt play the entire season with his team in the lebanese league due to some problems.

This game is definitely an eye-opener for the entire China team. They are very vulnerable inside the paint and when their outside shots are not falling, the game will be close.

Lots of touch fouls today, really bad officiating. But the officiating didn't favor either side.

Yi is great on offense but he's a liability on individual defense. Yes he blocks a lot but Vroman and Freije were able to score plenty on the inside.
 
china played well ... but if bryant bchara was fit for the game .. he would played instead of fadi l khatib and the score would have been different ... but props for both teams ... i have faith in my lebanese team .. we can make it to the world cup !!! and win the asia championship !!!
 
damn :mad: i am so mad and sad we could have won this game!.we were so close fadi played bad today vroman freijeh and fahed were superb.its a shame to see lebanon battling on the 3rd spot now.china in the semis will come way stronger now.:(
 
This kind of referees is the reason that asian teams are easily beaten by european team.
