Group E, Day 1: Korea vs. Kuwait

25-11 lead right now for Korea, should be a relatively easy win by the Koreans even with playing their bench

It's a surprisingly close game 36-30 for Korea and it's already the 3rd quarter.
 
quarterfinal placings and pairings are on the line....I wonder what's on Korea's mind...
 
Is Kuwait's big slow guy naturalized? Call me a racist, but every time I see a black man (and no, it's not just his color, he is for sure of sub-Saharan African descent) in Asian games I am suspicious...

Ha Seung Jin is losing his spot to that 200cm college player Oh Se Keun...

I think Ha needs to work on his mental toughness. He has tunnel vision when he's on the floor so if you frustrate him he's out of the game. Kim Min Soo and Kim Joo Sung are the real anchors for the Korean team.

Korea doesn't look too good. Most their points come from foul shots as Kuwaiti players seem to use hands excessively. On the defensive side, they rely on individual hard nosed defense with almost no communication or defensive system. Some play rough, and you may force turnovers against the likes of Kuwait, but it won't work against sophisticated offense.

Kim Joo Sung is still sharp, but he doesn't have too many years left. Julian Kim (aka Kim MS) and Oh Se Keun are undersized and I don't know if Ha has even got off the bench yet.
 
korea is an average team i wouldnt mind coming 3rd in the group and facing china,rp or taiwan they all seem very limited team with obvious defeciencies the only prob with that is facing china in the semi final ...maybe jordan can beat china so we can avoid them in the semis but that seems impossible
