Duh, France won a close game today... :( that means that Lithuania probably needs to win this one or at least loose by a very small margin to stay in 1-2 places.. If Lithuania looses by a very big margin, i would rather see them loosing to France and Libanon to take a 4th place.

I see our chance in winning against France,so it could be 3 team tie in the end.So most important thing is to loose by as little as humanly possible.
First or second place in the group could mean quarter-finals...Long shot though

I dont know what the other spaniards in this forum think, but I dislike when our NT is named 'La Roja', is difficult to explain, but it implies soccer more than basketball. And not only that, our disgusting and horrible government and shameful president tries to make us believe that every sport sucess is because of its good politics.

The other day a tv reporter of TVE was saying sometingh and he said:
La selección... (stayd quiet)
eeeerhhhh La roja bla bla bla

He was about to say la seleccion española, then he realised it's prohibited and sayd the correct word.
He porbably got a corrective after that

I haven't seen him in tv since then

madre mía!!!! i'm also getting mad with this.... What happened with the ÑBA? I can understand that name can be a little bit arrogant for other countries, but thats not the intention.

Game starts again 6-6, but Garbajosa hits the three...

And our good commentators are in the greece-turkey :mad::mad:

Spain is just on the different level.. This game was probably over with the first sub of Javtokas. Klimavicius got owned by Gasol badly 4 times in a row and we're pretty much done.

Its difficult, the government is making a hard job in the shadows, they just want to have the power forever (as all these politicians...) and they're changing our mentality and our identity. And there is taboo saying la selección española (the spanish NT), that is worng, what is correct now is "la roja". As Man with Dissapoint had explained, that 'new mentality' tries to persuade us that the red is the good, we are red, and our sucess is the red, the comunism, Zapatero...

ÑBA is a funny name for our NT for the last tournaments. It's funny because it plays with NBA (obvious.... :rolleyes: I know), and with our typical spanish letter, the Ñ. That was a very satisfying name for us because it also implied the high quality our players had, and the sucesses they got

it has with politics, its bullcrap
the socialist party is ruling now, his logo is red, a hand with a rose, also, people from the left are "rojos", I don't know, it's a little bit like paranoia, they say la roja this, la roja that,
it's subtle, instead of saying seleccion española, wich integrates all spaniards, they say la roja
they make it appear it only has to do with the color of the shirt, but...
If you're one of the paranoid, you start thinking things, maybe it's more than the color of the shirt.....

Lithuania offense hasn't been fluid. The ball rotation is always on the perimeter.

This always happens for politicians to try to get credit and to misguide the public but I didn't know the connection also between socialist party and roja color.


I never liked that name roja anyway because in greece it is slung for saying spitting.

Well, at least we already have 10 offensive rebounds.
 
We need to improve our defence, especially under the basket, if we still want to fight for the W. Otherwise we will be dead at the end of 3rd quater...
