These two will meet each other for the third time this summer. Spain was better in both preparation games, winning them by 21 and 19 points. But the most important game is this one. And when it matters, anything can happen. Both teams are far from showing their best basketball. Spain managed to loose the championship opener against France, Lithuania despite the wins didn't look convincing against New Zealand and Canada.

Game time: 21:00 GMT+3
Host city: Izmir

According to lrytas.lt Fiba decided to forbid to bring drums into the arenas. Apparently there were some incidents in other venues, so the federation decided to ban them all.

The strange thing is, that all the officials are happy with the fans and the atmosphere, that they create in the arena, all cameramen just love to catch them it the act after some successful episode of the game, but for some reason Fiba is still trying to ruin all this.

Version 2. It all might be just a duck of the media just to irritate the readers and annoy with something, as the article is very sleek, without a name of any official.

Finally, portuguese sports channell will broadcast a game not involving USA or Angola!!! Thanks SportTV, tomorrow a Euro Classic :p:p

i'm going to put my money on Lit on this one, i know spain are the world champs, but they havent impresses one bit soo far.
anyways, i think it'll be a rather very close game.:)

I'm skeptical about this one, although Spain's bad performance gives us some hope. And we really need a win, because losing would almost guarantee us the 3rd place in the group and meeting USA in the quarter-final (if we beat Turkey or Greece, which is of course not easy too). So second or first place in the group would be sooo much better, China, Russia and Puerto Rico are all very beatable.

Even though I'll heartily support the greens, I think the reds will win easily.

easy win for the rojas..but either result wouldn't suprise me anymore in this WC.
