What do you think about Turkey-Puerto Rico match? Will Turkey continue their unbeaten or Puerto Rico will beat them?
 
Turkey should forget about tonight's match and look at this as a match in itself
Then Turkey should not have a problem winning

I voted for Turkey but Puerto Rico is the team I fear the most in this group, with the second one being Turkey because I am afraid we will lose our concentration as usual and Puerto Rico is no joke. Hope it won't be 2002 World Basket all over again.

Go Turkey! With size and strength they will pick the small Puerto Ricans up and crush them like twigs!

As long as Ilyasova continues to hit 100% from 3-land, they have nothing to worry about.

If he starts missing, well... time to worry... :p
 
I hope PR win so China just need to beat Russia to advance,But honestly I don't see that happen...

when someone would say Puerto Rico I would say 3pt shooting..
but 5/21 yesterday (24%), 4/21 against Russia (19%)..
11/22 against Greece (50%)..

so only, 20-ish tries for three per game..
I know there is no Ayuso, Arroyo is also out but wtf?

good match to watch.. our big men perform so good so far.. our inside game will create the difference.. turkey by 10+

p.s. and of course our huge defence..

I hope that if Turkey beats us at least it will be crearly and cleanly.

By the way things have gone for both teams, most probable Turkey will beat Puerto Rico if they hold them below the 75 points, while Puerto Rico needs to most likely score 80 points to win.
 
does this game have any significance for the standings, except for the unlikely scenario described by sinobball?

if turkey loses, they still finish first in the group unless they also lose tomorrow which will not happen.

if puerto rico loses, they finish 4th (they will obviously beat CIV tomorrow). but if puerto rico wins, they finish 4th too.

so i am not sure why this game is even being played. :D
 
i believe it would be good for turkey to lose tonight. a loss that will cost nothing and keep players down to earth. after all better make a loss now than in the knock-outs.
