I am confident we will beat Russia,but with Russia beat PR on the first day,we may still go home...
 
It's over. FUCK! But I more ore less expected it.

PR coach gets lots of credits despite how he's perceived here by some PR members. Using Balkman and not Ramos was brilliant.

Although I'd be interested to know how many fouls China committed. The number of free throws they got, it's almost ridiculous.

They should be similar then. I was wrong. But there were some questionable calls especially offensive fouls that affected the game.

Donewald takes some blame this game for not taking advantage of the size inside. Yi despite scoring lots of points lingered in the perimeter. But I guess this is the reality: we don't have much offense inside. Wang Zhizhi is getting up there and fatigues easily.

Barea is a fantastic player despite not scoring a lot today. Big kudos to him.

Well I guess I'll take the loss. China did play with heart which was encouraging to see, but blocking out is still a huge issue. Damn can't ever buy a win over PR. Now how will K2 humiliate me? :)

And if CHN and Russia will reach an agreement, that CHN will win by 9, they both will qualify.
So it was not a very smart move by PR not to try to score in the last possesion

that zone defense the whole game sux. PR dominated the boards with 2 undersized players. Vassallo was huge, I loved Barea's game today, if he keeps playing injured we might have a chance tomorrow.
Humilliating you? Why? Cuz of a random argument we had on msn while most probably u were drunk as f....? :)

I'll think about it and consult with prsurf :D

Of course not if you can beat Turkey. Russia will go home in that case unless they beat Greece. But I doubt any of these 3 teams can beat Turkey/Greece.
 
Ugh no way China beats Russia with the way they've played this tournament. Outrebounded by 18... seriously wtf? Including allowing PR to get 16 offensive boards opposed to just 6 by China? The entire team dropped the ball, literally.

Liu Wei looked pretty bad again, but Yu Shulong is quickly becoming the most useless piece on the team. What exactly does he do again? China cannot keep playing zone against these teams they are getting picked apart, but probably can't keep up in man to man, so essentially they are f-ed.

Good job by PR and great game by Vassallo, Barea, and Balkman (but seriously wow this dude?) Best of luck against Turkey.
