I think PR will pressure guards and defend well. We might surprise Russia and steal this one.

8-0 so far in this poll...I agee. Trying to stay humble in this european majority forum.
Wow, that's quite an interesting information. I wouldn't expect that.Series History (official tournaments excluding exhibitions)
Puerto Rico vs. Soviet Union: 9-1, URS
Puerto Rico vs. CIS: 1-0, PUR
Puerto Rico vs. Russia: 2-1, RUS
Last meeting: 1998 FIBA World Championships (86-73, Russia)
They might be stronger tactically, but I don't think they are physically stronger. The PR team has a lot of beef at every position except PG and their PGs are extremely talented and, in my opinion, much better than Russia's PGs. They always have good defense, but PR is streaky on offense.Russia is tactically and physically far stronger team then Puerto Rico... They should win this game though..
It will be a close game, with a match between Fast and Big. Russia has a huge team tbh, but not too skilled. PR is very fast and wild. I don't know anything about the PR coach it will depend a lot on him.
I voted for PT.
