i think that will be the best fight of the tournament :) sLOVEnija must win that!
 
equal but i think i will pick slovenia ,Laka is so much better than Roko.
 
Because of Gogi and Sani...and Jaka on a SG...:)

and FYI Roko is one GREAT player!!!!!!IMHO

(+Our centers are slowly coming out from the dirt)
 
because of gogi and boki :) (dragic and nachbar) sani is injured.. i hope he can play today.. jaka is good but need his day.. :)
 
It's hard to anticipate this one .Will close .But I vote for Croatia base on Fiba Ranking.
 
Slovenia's got a lot of talent. What I don't really know is if they have is blood running through their veins. My vote is for Croatia.
 
Nothing but a win here counts for us, if we want to achive the desired goal(progress out of group stage), its also very unlikely we will have such a poor shooting day as we did against the US.
These games are always something special.

Slovenia has quick backourt of Dragic-Lakovic which could pose problems for Croatia, since both of thier best swingmen are over 2m tall (Tomas, Bogdanovic), which could force Vrankovic to play inferior player like Kus.

On the other hand i don`t think Vidmar and Brezec are capable of sustaining Tomic and he should have big game.

It will be close game, but i think Croatia prevails due to better balance of inside-outside game offensively. Slovenia looks better defensively though.

Croatia +15.

If we dont win today against Slovenia we will never win against them.

Slovenia in Turkey dont have half of his best players - Udrih, Nesterović, Vujačić, Lorbek, Smodiš... Starting five, no?

SO, WE MUST WIN THIS ONE!!!!

Well, I hope so:), but in reality Slovenia is individualy bit better, and tacticley mile infront of us. Slovenia will win easily with lot of dunks from their bigs since we zone high on pick or we switch and our bigs are prety thin. Dragic will kick Roko's ass

Frankly, I'd take Roko over Jaka, especially the way Ukic has been playing thus far. But I know Jaka has at least a couple amazing games in him this tournament and I hope he pulls one out today. They've both been playing hard and Croatia started hitting some shots yesterday. If that carries over Slovenia's in trouble. This is is the game I've most been looking forward to in the whole group. I talked to Boki Nachbar yesterday about the game vs. USA, the one against Croatia, and the Beno Udrih situation:

I love this tie. Two equal European teams in my oppinion.

They both faced easy opponents in one of their matches against Tunisia and Iran but agaist the real giant they were thrashed.
I expected Slovenia to put up a good fight against USA but they didn't, they were also awful in the 3points %. Croatia was thrashed by USA as well.

Concerning this game, Slovenia should be able to win it but I wouldn't be surprised if Croatia wins it. An expected score of more than 80 points for at least one team.

Based on what lol? Based on the fact that we are missing 3 starters? Just think how Greece did without two starting players lol. Boy was that embarrassing lol.
