Yeah, when Derrick Rose was pushing the ball, they played incredibly well. If Croatia could just make defensive decisions a little quicker, maybe they could have done something.

Believe it or not, I'm not disappointed... Our bigs Žorić and Tomić got into foul trouble quite fast and there was a lot of respect for Americans, so 3pt shot and FT were terrible... And Americans were hitting 3s from all over the floor...

Tomić was solid, Bogdanović too, Tomas underperformed badly and Ukić still isn't in shape after injury...

Don't know, considering who our coach is, how physically stronger Americans are and how inexperienced some of our guys are, I'm satisfied...

Congratulations to Americans!

we played with to much respect and as usuall kus and planinic started other team roll. i think realistcley it could be much closer but we missed so many layups, open shoots and ft. tough, doesn't matter 10, 15, or 30 as long as we play better with teams that we can beat

I just wish that Team USA will not be enamored with a false sense of confidence with them winning tune up matches with Spain and Greece.

Spain and Greece have not even played 50% to their capacity during those tune up games.

Team USA should not tread on Croatia lightly.

Team USA will not treat any opponents lighty. Their real test will be against Brazil. As long as they stay consistent with their pressure defense, speed, and accurate 3's they should be able beat Brazil.

14 months ago he wasn't even playing serious senior basketball..
he was at Real who sent him all over Spain on loan..
his first real senior season was the one which ended in june and he played great throughout the season..
he was considered as one of the biggest croatian talents in youth level..
he went to Spain too early and had injury and health problems..
but he is here to stay.. a modern SF/SG with the decade or so infront of him..
