Croatians are always strong in basketball, but I dont trust coach Vrankovic... I had that oportunity to listen to him in Paris during the final four. His conversation with Danko Radic - he doesnt look like a right person for this job... He is more like his pupet...

Most probably USA will win big time...

Really? They haven't played since then? Huh. Yeah, that is surprising.

Croatia is OK. They're not great, but they're OK. Unfortunately for them, they don't have enough muscle to compete. The US will have a hot start in this game, Croatia will make a comeback in the second quarter, and then the US will pull away again in the third quarter. I predict a US win by 15 points.
 
Interesting game! Croatia is always dangerous for top contenders, I remember Eurobasket 2007 when they beat Spain in group stage and almost beating Lithuania (with all stars) in quarterfinals. Croatia is pretty well balanced team and they can really shoot! So typical European BB, against typical American BB. 45:55 for USA.

And that was last time we played with full roster untill 2005. EB

Anway, 0 chances for us. We probabley had more chances in 92. (if we ever had one:rolleyes:) vs. real dream team than today with "dream team D"
 
Croatia looked not too great in friendlies, far lesser than Lithuania and Greece.

I think Slovenia is better than Croatia this time around. Should be easy US win, BUT......

As some mentioned before, US have not seen lock down zone yet...
 
I believe US will take this one pretty easily, the main reasons are Vranković and lack of physical abilities by our players... I mean, Tomić can score a lot if he will have his day, but he can be real liability in defense with his softness...

If we would play well and if Žorić would have at least one block, I will be satisfied :) That's all I wanna see, a nice game with fast ball movement...
 
I have not seen Croatia play lately but look forward to a good game. If not, I at least hope USA will win (of course).
 
I'm hoping that Croatia can do what Puerto Rico did back in 2004 Athens Olympics and pull of an amazing upset. It'll be tough but it ain't impossible.
 
I just wish that Team USA will not be enamored with a false sense of confidence with them winning tune up matches with Spain and Greece.

Spain and Greece have not even played 50% to their capacity during those tune up games.

Team USA should not tread on Croatia lightly.
 
I'm guessing about 20 points for USA, but just for Picek's sake, I hope it goes to 40+
