BTW we are ment to play Brazil at every tournament at any level, its just inevitable. That´s maybe why games between Argentina and Brazil are always so intense and great.

Argentina-Brazil, Spain-France, Russia-Lithuania, USA-Australia...really a great set of rivalry quarterfinals.

Yeah, you cant ask for anything better than that, I expect all close games with the exception of USA-AUS.

So you're admitting that Argentina tanked this one against the U.S. to absolutely, positively make sure they got to play Brazil in the quarterfinal?

It's very hard to have a close game against the USA with Durant and/or LeBron in beast mode. In the decisive minutes versus Lithuania was James, time for KD today.

...or Carmelo Anthony.

What??? you got it all wrong. I´m saying that no matter what the results are, we end up playing against Brasil every tournament (we seem to be destined to face each other in these elimination games), and allways its very special to play Brasil (actually at any sport), i´m sure you know there is a big (sports) rivalry between Brasil and Argentina don´t you?

Too much soccer/football influence on some of these teams.

I really wanted too see both teams in the semi's and now one of them will have to go home..

Oh that's right! That's to see who gets to finish second behind Uruguay, isn't it?

:D

I favor Brazil over Argentina. Argentina too reliant on Ginobli to save them all the time
