I just find it hilarious. USA come out of its shell and play like they should and now people are suggesting Argentina is not trying cause its not an important game. No one is beating this US team. Enough with the excuses.
 
I think the US played one of its best games ever. Better than against Spain in the final of 2008. Scoring 102 points against Argentina in 3 quarters is just amazing. There's just no way to beat them this way. Hope they didn't peak too early.
 
Bit of a cheap shot to end the quarter, that might come up in a rematch.

That's the US defense I was waiting to see! Much better, 4th quarter will probably be relaxed, unless US takes that personal.
 
Wow. Gonna be tough for Argentina if Prigioni is hurt and Campazzo is suspended for his cheap shot on Anthony.
 
can someone tell me what the Tech was for after Westbrook put that guy on a poster?
 
Game and crowd got all intense for two minutes at the start of the fourth quarter, then everyone remembered it was a 25-point game and the energy just disappeared.
 
Damn I missed the cheap shot on Melo. Paul finally playing up to expectations. Only Kobe is missing. He still has 3 games to redeem himself.

So when will Campazzo get his 4-year 25M deal from an NBA GM? ;) He reminds me of Rubio with better shooting.

Best game by Team USA in this tournament so far.

42-17 was the run in the third. Jesus, forget Nigeria that was the best US has played all tournament.

As for the game... Great effort by the US NT. They really played intense high level bball for the whole game and if they play like this in the remainder of their games the gold medal will be theirs no doubt!

I see you are really hurt for how Argentina humiliated Lithuania in the first game.

Very good first half for Argentina, even with the starters in the bench in the second quarter, then USA played the best 10 minutes i can remember, it was beatiful and Kevin Durant is the most amazing player in the world.
 
It's very hard to have a close game against the USA with Durant and/or LeBron in beast mode. In the decisive minutes versus Lithuania was James, time for KD today.
 
BTW we are ment to play Brazil at every tournament at any level, its just inevitable. That´s maybe why games between Argentina and Brazil are always so intense and great.
 
Campazzo played good defense, involved his teammates and took care of the ball. Solid replacement for Prigioni.
