This sounds more like wishful thinking rather some valid argument on his participation.
He ll be playing even if the Bucks go all the way and play in finals game 7 which I think is set for June 19th or something

Believing that a player after playing 100 games in one competition needs more than just few days off before playing in completely different competitions with different teammates is not just wishful thinking. Playoffs are very hard for Nba stars. You can expect 40 minutes every game, all burden on them, everyone with some minor injuries. But even more importantly you're emotionally spent, winning or losing, after that kind of competition. Giannis is not exactly a player, who can dominate with his skills and Fiba rules don't exactly favour him, he has to be 100% physically and mentally to be dominating.
