To be honest though, the lack of calls he gets when he is posting people or attacking the rim, offsets the lack of calls opponents get for his traveling. He has basically redefined the travel rule by himself :D

Even if you subscribe to that point of view that equates to a net 0. All other superstars travel and are never called for it when it counts, ( I can't recall a critical traveling call on a superstar ever) yet they still enjoy the advantage of the whistle and are not handicapped by their physical stature, so they play with a net advantage. Therefore LeBron is still at a disadvantage. Coach you love my logic ? Lol.

I watched the derby against Cleveland last night, what a scandal, concerning referees of course.

Did they aim to demonstrate something to LeBron? I can't imagine what would have happened in Europe to a referee who would watch the replay of that clear foul against him (by Durant) and nevertheless decide that he lost the ball by himself.

Have they already decided the champion? Nba must do something to prevent such situations at least for the playoffs.

its a rule that you cant use replay technology to decide if its a foul or not

LeBron haters don’t like to hear it but it’s a fact, LeBron has always been officiated this way. His physical stature acts as a handicap when it comes to getting the whistle. It’s not as bad as it was with Shaq who was probably fouled on just about every play but for a wing player it’s about as bad as it gets. In crunch time of games it’s a 50-50 proposition if LeBron will get the whistle when being obviously defended tight. I watched Michael Jordan’s entire career and in the final 2 minutes of close games he was defended the exact same way but got the call 90% of the time. Refs never swallowed the whistle when it came to him. So for me this stuff is nothing new and is the reality of the situation. If LeBron wants to win he will have to overcome it like he has in the past.

With all that I said I honestly can’t see a scenario in which Cleveland or any other team can beat the Warriors four times in a series. Even if Kevin Love plays the best basketball of his career and Isaiah Thomas even duplicates last year’s form, I think the quartet of Curry, Thompson, Durant and Draymond all in their primes is just too much this year.

if they bring Marc Gasol, they could beat them, but no without real rim protector and rebounder they cant, they are handiccaped under the basket when Love is not in the game

Gasol couldn't help them but DeAndre could. Golden State has traded backcourt depth for wing depth, and are not the same team when Steph sits. Bell was a huge addition but Cleveland is four deep with versatile forwards who are difficult to guard. Golden State has never faced a team like that. If Cleveland can acquire DeAndre while only giving up say Smith, Frye, Zizic, Cedi, and picks then they will have two very tough bigs down low plus Love who can give you thirty on any given night. Then you add in IT, who was the most unguardable point guard in the league last year. Who's stopping him? Nobody. So he gets Steph in foul trouble. Then you attack Draymond and Zaza and who does Golden State have left that's proven? Klay and KD will be sitting before Golden State knows what hit them. Now you have a bunch of unproven young guys versus some of the best, most experienced players at their positions plus LeBron. You attack Draymond, Zaza, and Iguodala and that defense is finished. You can easily draw fouls on Steph and KD, and Klay isn't that hard to do it against either. That leaves their offense without Steph, their frontcourt without Zaza, and their defense without Draymond. Is that really enough to beat Cleveland? I think not.

But that depends on a lot, like finding a way to shed the JR Smith and Frye salaries rather than trading Shumpert or TT. I think the Clippers would go for Zizic and Cedi plus a pick or two if they're smart because most of the offers they get from other teams will probably include big salaries for multiple years. IF Cleveland can do that though, they can definitely beat the Warriors. Especially if they trade Zaza or McGee like is rumored.

:D :D :D

Just count the number of fouls he makes here and how many were called (a bit of help there 0). He can't complain for not getting them, when he isn't getting called for this kind of shit.

Oh and KD both carried the ball and traveled in the same possession in front of the ref in last year's Finals and it didn't get called. The calls don't even out for LeBron half as much as you think.

That's that savvy vet dirtiness haha. Those guys are so damn good at doing things that are borderline but not quite egregious enough to be called consistently. Definitely a foul at the end I would say but his moving his hand while fouling was just brilliant. Hid the foul to the point it was difficult to tell if he did or not without a replay.

Watching Warriors- Raps and it's not even close. So much for the Raps being a contender, LOL. Warriors is scary good. May be the best team in years...Don't remember when the last time I have seen such and elite BB, that's the description of an elite BB.

cleveland is just too old to handle Warriors speed in long serries.Who Thomas gonna defend Curry or Thompson in defence? Its like shooting over a chair for best snipers ever...Irving was one of th e toughest Pg mathcups for Curry in recent years. You could see Irving has put some fear in Currys eyes,I dont believe Thomas can do that.Ir ving will be very missed, when they gonna face best backourt in nba.

Durant at age of 29 will not lose to 33 James in their matchup. As he shown in last 8 games between those teams.

Warriors is 3 times better defending team than Cavaliers. And you are talking how bad warriors defence is? Cavaliers defence is just joke compared to warriors one.

When they put death lineup Green,Durant,Igoudala,Thompson,Curry... its Curry and 4 very good defenders, hard to break such lineup. If you gonna put big boddys ale Love,Thompson together they gonna smoke you by speed . Bum bum and you are -15 in couple minutes. You must play small against warriors death lineup no other choise.Cavs was hanging in for 2years because they had best small ball player in league Lebron, but even he cant handle that when they added to Durant other one very scary small ball player.

Even if they trade for Deandre i dont see how he can be effective against death lineup.Clippers are dominated by warriors in last 3 years badly like 15-1...Deandre is not an answer here.He is not effective against style warriors play.

Its not a question will be enough to beat Cleveleand, the real question is can Cavs make it interesting serries...Healthy Warriors have enough to sweep anybody...

Warriors bench is not just young players you picturing, they have experience proven players like West,Livingston,Igoudala +Pachulia going with those young guns.Warriors have very good experience and youth mix.Cleveland has too many old player worse mix for sure.

I feel warriors will tested more seriuosly againts Rockets/Spurs than againts this old Cavs roster.

what ????

Steph is almost 30, so is KD, and Klay is not much younger. Klay and KD are not good defenders. You get Draymond and Iguodala in foul trouble and the Warriors' defense disappears. Livingston has been an amazing addition on both ends but Rose and Isaiah are two of the best in history, and IT is better than Kyrie could ever dream of being. Did you watch him in Boston? He did more then than Kyrie is doing now, and did it within the offense. He is Steph's worst nightmare. Kyrie had like two or three good games in the entirety of both Finals. The rest of the time he spent the games driving into the teeth of the defense and turning the ball over and really cost his team the series on both ends this past Finals and almost did last time.

Literally all the Cavs are missing is a legit shot-blocking big like DeAndre who plays tough down low. You're giving them far too little credit.

And if Zaza sits, Golden State's only toughness down low is combo forwards in Draymond and Jordan Bell.

The Cavs are so much stronger than last year it's not even funny.

The Warriors toyed and humored the Cavs for three quarters and then in crunch time turned it on and blew them out of their own building. The Cavaliers along with the rest of the Nba are outmatched by the Warriors. It’s not close at all.
They got better this year thanks to the confidence gained from last year while their competition got worse. The fact that this team is probably the best offensive and defensive team in the league pretty much sums up its opponents chances. It appears that their blueprint is to trade baskets with you for three quarters in which most of the teams can’t keep up, and for the few that do they just clamp down defensively with Iguodala, Thompson, Draymond and Durant (who has become an excellent defender thanks to his length) in the final quarter and shut teams down while they continue to score. This championship is almost inevitable as most great teams historically repeat.

The Cavs are a work in progress. They're transitioning away from almost a decade of Kyrie being the focus offensively and don't even have their full team yet. They're three deep at point guard when Rose is healthy, have a big man who can still get you thirty on any given night, have one great two-way perimeter player in Shumpert and a solid one in Jae Crowder, and their bench is right up there with almost anybody's. Jeff Green is easily as good a scorer as Young and Casspi -though not as great a shooter- and Crowder matches up very well with Draymond, Iguodala, and Bell. If they can get a legit starting caliber five who can block shots, then TT can play Zaza's role off the bench with a second unit of Crowder, Green, JR/Wade, and Rose/Calderon. That is a very strong second unit, and Zizic as a third big is pretty damn good.

They need to make some more moves but they are a team that matches up very well with Golden State. The Warriors have one backup point guard and a whole bunch of shooters. Young is ball-dominant and streaky, and Casspi is past his prime. That leaves you with a whole bunch of unproven youngsters if you can attack Golden State's key players. Teams have not done that for years now but they are probably more beatable than they have been in awhile, even with Bell, Looney, and Damian Jones added in. KD and Klay have been hidden defensively their entire careers, by the way. They will never be strong defenders. Klay is at absolute best a solid complemtary guy next to an actual strong defender and KD is just a dude with long arms.

Klay is bad defender? are you seriuos? He is guarding all top dogs of warriors opponents for the reason...Durant almost leads nba in blocks and is fast as cat and it is consider bad defender? have you watched last night game? Cavs tried their bets shoots,LEBRON WAS TRYING REALLY HARD EVEN IN DEFENCE IN FIRST HALF....than he run out of gass very similiar what was happening in last years finals...and Durant once again steps up in second half ....Warriors have best defence in entire nba by average and you are talking that they only have 2 good ale defenders in entire team? :)...I telling once again Green,Durant,Igoudala,Klay is very good defenders not even a discusion here. if you think otherwise or dont watch warriors play or you dont understand what is good defence in this small ball era.

Irving is obviuos better player that IT.Entire nba admits that and you telling me some kind jokes.Where Thomas where as player before last season? he played like bench player coming form the bench with instance offence in other teams for like 6-7 seasons. One season he was a star in good system ok but thats all.Irving is younger and better player obviuosly with way more achievements.Boston have better record last year with It or with Irving and without Hayward this season? Thomas with his 1m80 left 1-2 good seasons and thats all.He will never play better than he did last season. For Irving left 5-7 good seasons.I believe Irving havent even played his best season in nba so far.No wonder why Celtics gave so much to get Kyrie.

Durant and Steph is 29,Klay and Draymong is 27 thats are best years of nba athletes when you have experience already in you and still are in your prime.

Before I address the rest...

Name one time Klay ever shut down anybody. Ever.

I completely agree with this entire post.

i agree with this, another thing to add is that every time Warriors played vs good Front court (especially on center position) they had huge problems,
they lost to the hornets and Howard put 30 points 12 and 7 assists almost a TD, when Warriors lost to the Clippers, they couldnt get a rebound next to the DJ, when they lost vs Denver Jokic, Lyles even Plumlee feasted in the paint, when Warriors lost to the SAC, WCS had game of his career, i can go on with this, every time GSW plays vs a team with a strong Front court they lose especially when that FO has Crafty centers on defensive beasts like Al Horford, Jokic or DJ and Adams anyway i dont think GSW will win the ring this season and thats about it good night

anyway i dont think GSW will win the ring this season and thats about it good night

I hope you’re right because I can’t stand the Warriors. Between Curry’s on court showboating, Draymond’s personality and dirty play, and Durant joining a team that had already won a title and set the single season win mark, I would love for them to come up short. But all that aside I just don’t see it. They are a defending champion in their prime and those teams almost always repeat. Plus as I have mentioned there are no serious threats out there to them anyway.

I disliked and rooted against the Bulls in the 90’s but in everyone of those six NBA finals I never thought they would lose. The opponents just weren’t good enough.

One thing to keep an eye on this year is the backup point guard spot. It was a serious weakness as far as matching up against opposing point guards before they brought in Quinn Cook. Now former Drexel standout Damion Lee has been added on a two way deal. Quinn Cook is crazy underrated but Lee has definitely shown that he can be good enough to take his job. It should be an interesting situation to follow should Lee outperform him in preseason.
