LEBANON HOUSE - I am not an advocate for "one man contractors" but Yotives 31 13 rally in the 4th quarter wouldn't be talked about if not for the man above. Damn it! the guy was on fire, he virtually nearly carried the team on to victory.

Yotive after trailing the Reformers team ( who were having a field day at work) for the first three quarters (came into the 4th quarter with a 20 point deficit 50 - 30) realized they still had a chance. Because Reformers weren't playing any extra ordinary ball game and could be stopped easily.

This is crunch time where leaders are born. Even among the greatest of players very few a able to stand up to perform in the 4th. From nowhere, the dread locked man in the blue uni just took up the mantle, shooting 2's lights out, jumping out of bounds to scoop loose balls, taking it to the hole for easy lay ups....the fans just showed him so much love...but then too soon time caught with Yotive and it was too late to finish their rally.

But still much love to the dread locked guy in the Yotive team..one love

HCI Minibasket Update: Undefeated Sky Walkers win 14-6 over Spiders

Round one of the HCI Minibasket League came to close this Saturday with all teams having played three games. Sky Walkers seems to still be in the sky and untouchable winning three straight games. Although they play team game Samuel A. aka ‘Sammy’ stood out for the second week running scoring most his side points shooting 4-15 from the field and 4-6 from the foul line. On the Spiders side of the court, the duo of Michael A. aka ‘Jordan’ and John B. had a bad day as both had foul problems early in the game. This had them out of rhythm as they had to stay in pace with Sammy’s constant drive in the lane. He alone foul out both players early in the third quarter. The Spider bench put up a monster defense. Most fans thought Sammy will have his field day but to all amazement they held him to fewer points and kept his team mate out of sync. In the absent of both their stars, Spiders had Comfort A. to step up and she did scoring a field goal but that was not enough to get them into contention.

We looking forward to an exciting second round which starts next week. Will Sky Walkers go all the way undefeated? “No Way” says Jordan, we will get back in form second round. Morale still looks high in the camp of the preseason champs.

HCI Minibasket Update: Spartans still winless, lost 24-11 to Air Benders

HCI Minibasket Update: Spartans still winless, lost 24-11 to Air Benders

Five fingers are not the same. This can be seen clearly in the mini league. Although Spartans is a fine collection of players they still seem to struggle and yet to find their winning form. During the week you could see the individual efforts they put both into their workout and classes. Air Benders on the other end seems to be developing on their rhythm and to have the most improve player of the week, Thompson A. who shot 5-11 from the field mostly from offensive rebounds. Spartans played excellent. Ayishetu S. was brilliant. She helped her side with four points, a steal and surprisingly one turn over. She was aggressive to the basket on several occasions. Her team mate which is also their star player Ebenezer A. came late and enter the game at the beginning of the second quarter. The match up with Justice A. of Air Benders had him in check. All his shots and lay-ups where highly contested. Although he highly anticipated a win ‘AB’ could only settle in for four points in their lost

Hey, good stuff capecoasthoops! Africa as a region is the least represented on this forum, so it's always good to see someone reporting news/updates from the continent. Keep up the good work!

Ghanian basketball is making strides globally, showcasing impressive talent and athleticism. As the sport grows in popularity, it's inspiring to see how different cultures embrace and develop their unique styles. Just as kilmaplanter thrive in diverse conditions, so does Ghanian basketball talent.

Ghanaian basketball is a growing sport in the country, with increasing popularity, especially among the youth. The sport is organized under the Ghana Basketball Association, which oversees national leagues and competitions. Despite limited infrastructure and funding, Ghanaian basketball players show great passion and talent, with many aspiring to reach professional levels. Key events like the Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship have helped develop the sport locally. However, Ghana's basketball scene still seeks more international exposure and support to reach its full potential.visit
