Duncan doesn't show any expression (he is Duncan)
Lol so true. That's one of the reasons why i luv TD (as a player obviously) . He is always so calm and his lack of expression is also kinda funny.

I wonder if he tried trash talking to Shaq... that would be funny... although Garnett will be in trouble... look what happened to the Rockets several weeks ago when the fight started between the Suns and the Rockets... Shaq just push everyone that is wearing red and thats an entire team...
Anybody see Garnett elbow another young player, LaMarcus Aldridge from Portland?
Hahah I saw that game that was hilarious man. Shaq went over to help break up the fight and he was like push push and all the rockets players ended up on the floor. Yao ended up on the floor also lol and he's a huge man![]()
Noah: Garnett Is a Dirty Player - April 18, 2010, by TOM WITHERS, AP Sports Writer
Already despised and cast as a villain in Cleveland, Bulls center Joakim Noah(notes) may now be Public Enemy No. 1 in Boston.
With a day off to recuperate after guarding Cavaliers behemoth big man Shaquille O’Neal(notes), Noah decided to take a shot at Kevin Garnett(notes), calling the Celtics forward “a dirty player” for throwing an elbow at Miami’s Quentin Richardson(notes) in their NBA playoff opener.
Garnett connected with an elbow to Richardson’s face during a sideline skirmish in the final minute of Boston’s Game 1 win on Saturday night. Garnett, who was called for two technicals and ejected, was suspended for Tuesday’s Game 2 without pay.
Before the suspension was announced, Noah said Garnett deserves whatever punishment is coming.
“I’m going to say it: He’s a dirty player,” Noah said Sunday after he and his Chicago teammates practiced at Quicken Loans Arena in preparation for Monday’s Game 2 against the Cavaliers. “He’s always swinging elbows, man. I’m hurting right now because of an elbow he threw. It’s unbelievable. He’s a dirty player. It’s one thing to be competitive and compete and all that.
“But don’t be a dirty player, man. He’s a dirty player.”
Richardson was walking over toward fallen Celtics forward Paul Pierce(notes), who had gone down near Miami’s bench, when he got bumped by Garnett. The two exchanged words before others joined in and TV replays showed Garnett landing an elbow to Richardson’s chin as players from both teams pushed and shoved.
Noah’s opinion was that Garnett intended to strike Richardson.
“He knows what he’s doing,” Noah said. “It’s messed up. It’s wrong. It’s not right. I shouldn’t even be talking about this stuff. It’s crazy.” .....

I am sure everyone here can read?
What do you think about his actions?
Is trash talking always alright?, is there a line that cannot be crossed?, or is it fine in any case.
I think Paper Tiger might be an appropriate translation. "His bark is worse than his bite," as we say.The guy was owned by Calderon lol.
BTW has he ever actually picked a fight on court or is he what we call in Greece a "pseudo-bully"(english term?)?

I think he's been suspended for throwing elbows at guards like Quintin Richardson, but I don't recall him being in an actual fight where he threw punches. Anybody know?

So, Villanueva says that Garnett called him a "cancer patient."
Garnett says that he said "you are cancerous to your team and our league."
Please, KG. You did not say "you are cancerous to your team and our league." Nobody believes you said that.
This is pretty pathetic on KG's part. It's pathetic. I don't think it "crosses a line" or anything, it's just sad that KG's builds his game on finding younger, less experienced players to pick fights with. He has a long history of going after players who are smaller and thinner. There's a reason he's never talked trash to Dwight Howard.
Keeping a lid on trash talk - November 8, 2010, Boston Globe, by Gary Washburn
A night after Kevin Garnett’s Twitter-fueled controversy with Charlie Villanueva, the Celtics forward was involved in an exchange with Milwaukee’s Andrew Bogut after dunking on him for a key fourth-quarter basket in Boston’s 105-102 win.
Garnett screamed after the dunk, became entangled with Bogut, flipped an elbow, and Bogut responded by shoving him back. Both were assessed technicals.
Bogut, one of the league’s most brutally honest players, was asked later if he has to prepare to hear over-the-top trash talk from Garnett.
“Nah, he doesn’t test me,’’ Bogut said. “It’s not a big deal to me. I have no problem with him. Every player brings something different. He’s energetic. It doesn’t affect me and my play at all.’’
“He has an issue with [altercations]; I don’t, so just read between the lines with what happened in the last 48 hours, not just this game,’’ he said. “You read between what happened last game, too. He’s got a lot on his plate as far as that goes.’’
What is the banter like with Garnett?
“He doesn’t say nothing to me,’’ said Bogut. “We’ve got a little history as well. He doesn’t talk smack to me. He talks more to guys he knows he can that won’t do anything about it. He tried to do it my rookie year, but since then he hasn’t done much to me.’’
OK.. First of all, I'm really sorry for your lost. But I don't really agree with what you're saying here.I also lost someone close (uncle) to cancer 2 years ago. However I think this "incident" has been blown out of proportions. I'm no KG fan by any means but trash talking is part of the game. It's called trash talking for a reason, it's meant to be hurtful. You can't always be politically correct on everything, it depends on the situation.
